Stylish Apartment, Spectacular Outside Living Room

Exposed brick walls, original art & an outstanding outdoors living space with separate inside-&-out seating areas, exclusive to you. (we may occasionally need to garden & will check with you first). The private guest quarters have a private entrance & are attached to the main home. The space This bohemian space has been seen hosting techies doing hard hours downtown; party people here for the festivals; and small families who need space and harmony. You can reach the fun of downtown from here easily; but can come home & rest peacefully undisturbed by drama. Owners live upstairs and can give tips, help with local knowledge, if needed, but consider this your own private floor, where you'll be undisturbed. Yard will be shared with owners & owners’ puppy. Guest access Free access to back yard, you are welcome to hang out there (as long as you don't mind sharing with us from time to time; we enjoy meeting people and would enjoy sharing a drink / conversation with you), and of course, complete privacy in your own space. Laundry access may be arranged upon request, if you are planning a longer stay and need to wash clothes. Other things to note We get that most people prefer to self check-in to have max flexibility & convenience on arrival. We as hosts like to briefly meet our guests at some stage during the stay and we're also available if you have any questions. Note there is not a full kitchen in this property. There is a kitchen area including fridge and microwave where food and beverages can be stored and prepared. You have control over your own heating and cooling via a Nest thermostat, located behind the punching bag. For your safety there is an external security camera which overlooks the entrance to the property. South West Bernal Heights is a chill neighborhood away from the full party zones of downtown. This neighborhood is definitely a local feel, it's more quiet & residential than the downtown areas. It's walking distance to great cafes and near to the fun neighborhoods of Bernal, Mission, Castro and La Lingua (Mission / Castro about 12 mins by Uber), & you'll need to Uber or BART (that's a subway) to the busiest parts of town. For example, door-to-door to the Civic Center downtown by public transport is approx 40 minutes, and to Pier 39 / Embarcadero is 50 mins, with walking time to BART + subway time.
