Open floor plan concept with kitchen, dining, and living on the first floor. Large Flat Screen TV and gas log fireplace in the living area. 2 electric recliners. Fully equipped kitchen with Whirlpool appliances with gas range and a Keurig coffee maker. Stack Laundry. The master suite (King) is also located on the first floor and opens to the screened lower porch. 2 bedrooms (both Queen) with private baths are located on the second floor. Both upper bedrooms open to a large screened balcony overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Televisions in each bedroom. Screened Upper Balcony and Lower Porch. Patio with gas grill. Cottage has a chair lift on the stairs and may be used by guests upon request. In addition, guests have access to The Cottages at Jekyll Island million dollar oceanfront amenities, which include Clubhouse with Billiard Table, Fitness Room, zero entry pool, beach access, beach deck and community fire pit. THE COTTAGES BEACH ACCESS: The Cottages beach is approximately 2000 linear feet and has a dune area and seawall that runs the length of the Cottages oceanfront property. There are 3 dune crossovers to the sand area landside of the seawall that are always accessible, and that area can be used for recreational purposes. The access to the beach over the seawall is centrally located at the pool & clubhouse. At high tide, the water is at the seawall. The tides change every 6 hours from low to high tide. A tide chart will help you plan your beach time. The nearest beach park with ocean access all day is Oceanview Beach Park, appx 2 miles south just past the Holiday Inn.
