Peaceful SW-style ranch home in wine country

Welcome to our southwestern style ranch home in Sonoita/Elgin, Arizona wine country! Our home is 2,600 square feet and sits on 40 acres with unobstructed views of the beautiful Santa Rita Mountains. Our entire home is available for a wine country getaway. With three bedrooms, two full bathrooms with dual vanities, a half bath, an amazing kitchen, dining, two living spaces, and high-speed Internet, our home is ideal for two or three couples, or a family getaway (crib available for use). The space Nestled on a hill, this house in Elgin, Arizona has a beautiful Arizona room with eastern-facing views of "The Biscuit," a mountain feature looking like a rising pastry in the oven. With a cozy reading spot, the Arizona room is perfect for all seasons to enjoy the stunning views over the rolling plains. Off of the spacious breakfast nook are the Santa Rita mountains, one of the original famous "Sky Islands" in Arizona that towers above the high desert floor. More than a dozen wineries are all just around the corner, so be sure to check them out! Broadway musical buff? The musical, "Oklahoma!" was filmed here. Just down the street is where the famous train station scene was shot. The neighborhood gives you true country vibes with cattle grazing nearby. Enjoy watching western films like "Tombstone" on the 4K TV on the southwestern-style furniture. Or just go to the real thing: Tombstone and Bisbee, another old West town, are just about 45-60 minutes away. The sky is dark at night so you can enjoy some stargazing. The Sonoita-Elgin region is not only wine country, but it's also one of the best regions for birding in the world. You can stay plugged in with complimentary and fast WiFi suitable for working from home. We have electric hookups installed so you can plug in an RV or an electric vehicle. Make sure to check out our guide book to learn what you can do and see during your visit! After the fourth guest we do charge more per guest. Please be honest about this. In order to provide you with a clean house, all the cleaning fees go directly to the cleaner. Relatedly, please note that you may not have additional people at the house without clearing it with us ahead of time. Guest access You’re welcome to use the full house as well as the ranch land. There are 40 acres of land and the house is in the center of the property. 20 acres is fenced for your use and 20 acres across Wildlife Lane are open for your exploration .We are equipped both for 30 AMP and 50 AMP service. Other things to note There is one gas station, two mercantiles, and one Dollar General in town to get basic groceries. There are several restaurants including Dos Cabezas, Steak Out, and Copper Brothel Brewery. For more substantial groceries, check out Red Mountain Foods in Patagonia. For full grocery store, Sierra Vista is less than 50 minutes away.
