The House ground floor has the main entrance, 4 bedrooms: 2 double beds that are 150cm x 200cm. 1 motorized double bed 180cm width x 200cm length. 2 single beds 90cm width x 200cm length. all bedrooms have wardrobe space with hangers and chests of drawers. The ground floor have 1 bathroom with toilet and shower. Downstairs you will also find a small pool table. The main floor contains a large living room of 53m², here you will find the August Förster 215 Concert Grand Piano, dining room, sofas and TV area with Norwegian and some international channels, apps such as YouTube, game machine Xbox One. from the living room there are doors leading out to the balcony and the big Sun terraces. In the laundry room you will find a sink, washing machine and dryer, detergent, clothes drying rack, bench space, central vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board and exit door to the backyard. A guest touching and honest description of Sæbø, the surroundings and the house, published on an external site. Spectacular and peaceful This house is located in an absolutely spectacular location. The town of Saebo is seemingly a well-kept secret and is extremely quiet and relatively undeveloped. The house offers numerous amenities including a spacious living space, indoor sauna, jacuzzi, multiple TVs, lots of seating and kitchen space plus a grand piano inside, and a very large balcony and deck, hot tub and secluded setting outside with world-class views perched on the edge of the fjord. While the furnishings are less than luxurious and likely in need of an update, the large house is amply provisioned to suit most needs. You can walk into town and get basics or drive 20 minutes to a larger town for everything else. This is a place to be awed by nature, relax, hike, take the ferry to a nearby hamlet. No fancy restaurants or shops and little excitement except for the sheer beauty of the area. No giant cruise ships like other fjords either. There are also many easier hiking opportunities in the area, Sæbø's most popular "Gunnar-råsa" which is the easiest and "Sæbønestua" which is more challenging, both are within walking distance. If you want to ski, the ski lift at Bondalseidet (Ørsta Skisenter) is only 10-15 min drive from Saebo. It is possible to use a ferry and shuttle boat to see more of the Hjørundfjord. Trandal and Leknes are only a short boat or ferry ride away and are worth a visit. From Leknes it is a short drive to Urke, and on to Øye, and then Nordangsdalen, if you want to see Geiranger, just continue to Hellesylt and go by ferry from there to Geiranger, from there drive up to Dalsnibba "Geiranger Skywalk" which is located at 1500 meters and has a view down towards Geiranger. on the return trip it is possible to drive Stryn, Volda, Sæbø Whether you want to shop in the grocery store or have a better dinner at the Hotel Sagafjord is just a 2-minute drive from the Vacation Home in Høgeskjerva, 6165 SÆBØ. It is a short distance to many famous tourist spots such as Stryn, Geiranger, Hellesylt, Trollstigen, Briksdalsbreen, Runde, Ålesund city From Høgeskjerva 24 it is about 2 minutes by car to the center of Sæbø. Here you will find 2 grocery stores, a beach, a hotel, and seasonally open niche shops, craft showroom, art gallery, fast food and more. Close to the beach is "Kapteinkvia", a communal gathering place that is open to everyone. "Kapteinkvia" is equipped with its own grill, pizza oven and a gap hut with seating for approximately 50 people, and a public toilet. In the immediate area, there are opportunities for both longer summit tours, family-friendly tours and ski tours. Some of the most popular tours are Slogen, Saksa, Skårasalen, Gunnarråsa and Sæbønestua. Check out @oppdagsunnmøre for good hiking destinations! At Trandal in the Hjørundfjord there is also the Christian Gaard bygdetun, also known for its wooden swings which has become an Instagrann sensation, The wooden swings attract tourists from all over the world to the tiny village of Trandal on Sunnmøre. The aim is to recreate the image they have seen in social media. There is a pub and restaurant, which in summer has several festivals; Country, rock and blues, etc. to reach Trandal you need to take a ferry from Saebo. or you can book a boat transport by calling Christian Gaard bygdetun. In just 30 minutes drive you will reach Ørsta. Here you get access to several shops, a shopping center, a liquor store, the airport, etc.
