Set in a farmhouse with centuries of history, Casa Espiga guests can contact 60 more animal species and take guided tours. Casa Espiga is our largest house, perfect for families and with private parking. In addition to the contact with the countryside, guests can also visit the city of Évora, a World Heritage Site The space This house, T3 with 70 m2, has a decoration allusive to the Alentejo and the fauna of the farm, with arrangements of feathers, spikes and traditional “macramé”. The room, facing the North, is spacious, with good natural lighting and integrates the kitchen that is equipped with all the necessary equipment to make your meals. In addition to the individualized WC, Casa Espiga has 2 showers. The houses of the Quinta da Sagrada Familia were in their origin a part of the farm stables and warehouses of the property, and the base structure and the overall dimensions and some details of the initial architecture were maintained. All the houses were rebuilt in 2020 according to the new safety standards, with particular care in terms of acoustics, thermal insulation and energy sources. Each house has a solar thermal autonomous unit with electric complement to ensure hot water and independent air conditioning units. All the houses confine to the north with a small patio where you can park your car/s, which in turn communicates with a garden that offers a shared pool and views of several enclosures where some of the farm animals shepherd as well as an outdoor dining space. Guest access Guests will have access to their individual home, parking and a common garden, with a swimming pool and floor fire, where they can have a view and contact with 4 of the animal fences of the QSF. Guests will only be able to access the entire farm upon a guided tour to be scheduled at the front desk and at an additional cost. We have a self check-in system where the guest receives an access code via email. The code works for both the entrance gate and the allocated house. The code expires at the end of your stay and will no longer work. There is no need to check out. To get out of the farm gate, there is a switch on the left side of the gate to open the gate from the inside. If the guest is a foreigner, we ask that before leaving, return the completed SEF (emigration) form to our reception or one of our employees. Other things to note The QSF allows dog stays in the houses, however, there is a pet fee of 20 euros associated with the stay, due to increased care and anti-allergic cleanings that must be carried out after the stay.
