Welcome to your ideal Catskills escape on 3 acres. This property is the perfect quiet getaway in the middle of the woods near state land, hiking, streams & the Delaware River. Amazing for those seeking nature, wildlife & viewing of the stars at night There are two bedrooms and full bathrooms upstairs - and another bed and full bath in the partially finished basement. The basement also features a mini gym complete with Rogue weights, yoga mats, and an iPad with access to the Peloton app. All beds are brand-new Casper mattresses and are extremely comfortable. Please enjoy the fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to host a lovely dinner. If you love to BBQ we have a charcoal grill and picnic table just outside of the kitchen. We have a firepit surrounded by tall trees and ferns - perfect for hanging out and roasting marshmallows. You'll also enjoy relaxing in the hammock on a cool summer evening. We're happy to provide plenty of flashlights, blankets, and insect repellent. Watch sunsets from the porch, and go explore the land around the house. Make great dinners and drink too much wine... that’s the heart of this home. You'll have access to the entire house - however - we ask that you stay out of the garage/accessory building. This house is perfect for nature lovers It’s on the Rio Dam and has hundreds of acres of state land within walking distance. We have a full trail map at the house for you to explore. The closest town is Port Jervis (about 15 mins away) with Foundry 42 (a fabulous coffee shop/home store) Fogwood + Fig (vegan food that even my meat loving friends enjoy) and Fox + Hare brewery. We also love to grab breakfast or sandwiches at Bagel Station Deli. We recommend stopping for provisions on the way up - the closest grocery store is 20 minutes away. Please check out our Guidebooks for more detailed information on things to do and places to visit. Please note. Cell service is very spotty depending on your service provider. We have excellent Wifi with a very strong signal once you arrive, but we suggest downloading your map on the drive up so you don't get turned around. You can park In the driveway right in front of the house - make yourselves at home Please do not leave any food or garbage outside the house. There are trash & recycle bins under the deck- which you'll see when you pull into the driveway. Feel free to use these if you find that you've filled the interior garbage bin. Otherwise upon check out please leave your trash inside the house. We will deal with it when you leave. Summer - There are mini split AC units in the main kitchen/living room and both bedrooms. Please turn them off before you leave. Winter- heat should be turned down to 60 degrees when you leave.
