The Wood House

The Wood House is a beautiful, secluded, open-plan cottage with spectacular sea views, a natural setting in a reclaimed woodland, and close proximity to Englishman’s Bay (considered one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean). The natural woodland attracts a large variety of wildlife making it ideal for birders or naturalists interested in exploring the Tobago environment. Walk the terraced grounds, explore Englishman's Bay estate, or just relax in the stunning views. The space This house was designed for indoor-outdoor living and can be fully opened to allow the tropical breeze to pass through. This also means the house may not be for everyone because wildlife (invertebrate and vertebrate) may find their way into the house. The living area has vaulted ceiling, there is a kitchen area and separate bath with large bathtub. There is a sleeping loft as a separate bedroom or guests can use a murphy bed within the main space; your choice. Note that the house comes with a resident cat. She is very friendly and loves company but if you hate cats and/or are violently allergic to cats, consider her presence. Guest access The entire house and pool are private space. The house has high speed internet (via starlink) through wifi. Laundry is available for longer term guests (check with property manager on arrival) Other things to note The house is very private at the end of a private road. When checking in please advise property manager of your privacy desires.
