The property is simple. Choose from 3 bedrooms (Bed 1: Queen, Bed 2: Queen 3: Queen). Full kitchen. Full Bathroom with Laundry. One stall garage. Everything you would expect in a home but just more simple (and smaller). Interested in a farm tour? Just ask! We also have farm fresh eggs for sale if you prefer to skip the grocery store! Plenty of space on the farm for parking boats, trailers, race cars, ect. We allow pets but no aggressive dog breeds allowed per insurance company. This retreat will slowly bring you back in time to the 1920s with the Vermont Casting Wood Stove serving as the main attraction in the living room. Although we don't allow fires during your stay the cast iron freestanding wood stove sets a relaxing mood surrounded by natural stone. Our newest addition, a replica 1921 rotary wall phone offers our guests an opportunity to dial loved ones and experience life before cell phones. The book, "Growing Up on the Farm", which was written by my late grandfather Norb, is resting on the coffee table for those interested in taking a journey back to life on a farm during the Great Depression. This property is located along an Escarpment and offers beautiful views in all directions. The guest house view looks West at the sunrise and drops into a valley of green cow pasture. We also have a North Facing Field that offers a spectacular view for star gazing and the West view provides a picture perfect sunset. When we travel we prefer to lodge at Airbnb Homestead properties which inspired our family to provide that option for you in NE WI.
