This 2500 sf open concept cabin, is a “cabin away from home”. You feel like you're away from it all, but you're super close to town, as Red River is only 4 miles away. You have easy access dramatic hikes, skiing, snow-boarding and plenty of room to stretch out and relax. Nap, hike, watch the hummingbirds and deer. This cabin with its fun & peaceful surroundings will help you & your guests create memories for years to come. We can’t wait for you to enjoy it! The space The large, modern kitchen has a glass tiled backsplash and is well stocked with dishes, utensils, stainless steel appliances, a crock pot, stock pot, pots and pans, blender, large toaster, coffee pot and much more. Please bring your own coffee to enjoy! Enjoy your meals from the indoor dining table while you take in the views of Wheeler Peak in front of you. Then head outside to the massive wrap around front porch! Enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail while you sit and take in the views and refreshing mountain air. During warmer months, take advantage of the patio furniture on the porch too! A master king-size bedroom is downstairs and has an ensuite bathroom. with separate rooms for each sink! Bedroom 1: downstairs, king, sleeps 2 Bedroom 2: downstairs, queen, sleeps 2 Bedroom 3: upstairs, queen, sleeps 2 Bedroom 4: upstairs, great for kids, 2 queens, 1 twin, sleeps 5 Loft: upstairs, twin bed, sleeps 1 Bathroom 1: downstairs, full ensuite bath, tub/shower combo, with separate rooms for each sink. Bathroom 2: upstairs, full bath, tub/shower combo 1/2 Bathroom: downstairs Guest access You'll have access to the entire cabin! (with the exception of the garage and owners closets) Other things to note All towels and bedding for the comfy beds are provided. You’ll also enjoy free WIFI at the cabin, as well at many of the shops and restaurants in town. We have a satellite TV downstairs. The community center in town has free daily activities in summer, lots of fun for the entire family. The towns of Angel Fire, Taos, and Eagle Nest are no more than 30-60 minutes away. If you're interested in skiing, here are the drive times to each of the resorts: Red River Ski Valley: 13 mins Angel Fire Ski Valley: 47 mins Taos Ski Valley: 1 hour and 10 mins When approaching the cabin, you will see majestic Wheeler Peak, rising 13,000 feet in front of you. The cabin sits at road level, perfect for parking your ATV trailer and NO 4WD or AWD is necessary in winter months! During the winter, we provide you with your first round of firewood, then you're welcome to purchase more in town! We also provide toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags to get your vacation started. Please bring additional from home or you can purchase more in town!
