Polderhaus-Deichblick (right on the Dollart)

Welcome to our Polderhaus-Deichblick in the vacation area of East Frisia, directly on the Dollart, in idyllic surroundings. If you are looking for peace, love long bike rides or walks at sunset, if you want to dine with your loved ones in the garden with miles of views over cornfields, and do not place great value on modern furnishings, then you are in the right place in our Polderhaus anno 1937. The house can accommodate up to 6 people and has 2 separate apartments. The space Vacation home with 2 separate apartments with 2 entrances for you all by yourself. For up to 6 people. The two apartments can be divided as needed. If you arrive with 2 people, you can choose an apartment on site. The house is ideal for, for example, 2 families of friends, or a large family. You can divide the apartments individually. You are ALWAYS alone on the property. The two apartments are not rented to 2 different families at the same time. *Apartment 1 (the larger one): First floor, living room with TV, kitchen with stove and oven, fridge/freezer, kettle and coffee maker (pod and filter), dishwasher, - bathroom with shower, hairdryer and washing machine, - Bedroom with double bed and 2 more bedrooms each with a single bed on the 2nd floor. *Apartment 2: Kitchen with stove and fridge, living room with TV, toilet, bedroom with double bed, open bathroom with shower between kitchen and living room. For bookings of up to 4 people, we recommend apartment 1. For more than 4 people (up to max. 6 people), both apartments can be occupied. There is a bicycle shed to store your bicycles, and 5 old bicycles that can be used. Garden furniture, a grill and umbrella are available and there is parking for up to 3 cars. Guest access The house has a driveway with parking for 2-3 cars Other things to note The house has 2 separate apartments and is typically East Frisian and cozy, but very simply furnished. If you value modern furniture and comfort, this is explicitly the wrong place for you. The house has a plot of 1500 square meters with 2 large gardens with fruit trees (apple, pear, plum, cherry), currant and gooseberry bushes, and a large bicycle shed (5 old wire bikes available!). Depending on the time of day, you can either relax and dine in the front garden, or sit behind the house and watch the sun set behind the dike, and let the fresh North Sea air blow around your nose with a cool Jever. The property is ideal for 2-6 people. The 2 separate apartments offer a vacation for large families with children. Dogs are allowed as long as some rules are followed. You can only move into one apartment (2-4 people) and choose it on site. If you want to vacation with up to 6 people, you can divide yourself into the 2 apartments as you like. Whether 2 or 6 people, you are always alone on the property! The two apartments are not rented to 2 different families at the same time. Our Polder house is very close to the Dutch border, and stands in the middle of a cornfield. Closest neighbor is 400 m away. If you like absolute peace, this is the place to be. The surroundings offer many great excursion destinations, such as the many cute little Dutch villages behind the border. In "Bad Neuschanz" it is worth visiting the local spa and visiting the Dutch fish snack bar (reachable by bike). A beautiful view of the Dollart is offered by a lookout point 5 km away, where in summer even some East Frisians go for swimming. Unfortunately, there is no sandy beach in the whole region. In the fishing village of "Ditzum" you can buy fresh crabs and take the ferry to Emden. From here, you could continue for a day trip to the North Sea island of Borkum. Restaurants and shopping are offered by the town of "Bunde," 6 km away. Cities like Papenburg (Meyerwerft!) or Leer can be reached quickly and invite you to shop or stroll. All in all, our Polderhaus is ideal for unwinding and exploring the quiet idyllic surroundings on foot or by bike. Our sunsets behind the dike are some of the most beautiful ever!
