The Wattschnecke vacation home welcomes you to beautiful North Frisia! Here with us, you can enjoy the unmistakable, fresh sea air, stroll through surrounding fields and meadows, explore the Wadden Sea and the extensive network of paths invites you to cycle. Other things to note The 62-square-meter, detached accommodation, renovated in 2022/2023, is located on our farm from the 1930s in the village of Bohmstedt near Husum. It has a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom with a large shower, an equipped kitchen (including a dishwasher, oven, toaster, refrigerator with freezer, Senseo machine, microwave) and a living room with a high-quality, fold-out sofa bed for a maximum of 2 more people. There is also a private small terrace with terrace furniture and barbecue facilities for our guests. You can park your bicycles free of charge in our hall on the property. The Wattschnecke is a non-smoking home. All rooms have mosquito or fly screens. Wi-Fi is available free of charge, as well as an initial set of bed linen and towels. No pets are allowed in the accommodation, parking is available right in front of the vacation home. Arrival can be flexible from 4 pm due to our key box at the entrance of the cottage. Our cat, 3 rabbits and some chickens live with us on the farm. Fresh rolls are available in the morning from the baker, who is on the same street as the accommodation (5-minute walk). A public playground is within walking distance in 3-5 minutes. The North Sea coast or the nearest swimming area Lüttmoorsiel can be reached from the Wattschnecke within 15 minutes by car. Husum is also only about 16 minutes away, Flensburg can be reached in 45 minutes and the Danish border is just as close. In addition, the ferry ports Schlüttsiel (about 30 minutes) and Dagebüll (about 35 minutes) are nearby as a gateway to the Halligen and offshore islands (such as Sylt and Amrum) for a day trip. And if you feel like the other sea, the Baltic Sea, that's also no problem: the cozy Eckernförde is within approx. 1 hour away.
