Car racing enthusiasts will love the close proximity to the Speedway, just 8 minutes from the house where you can watch the Nascar races as cars zip around the course or try your luck at Hollywood Casino while you’re trackside. There are many options when it comes to getting around Kansas City. The Kansas City streetcar is totally free to use and is the best way to get around downtown. It runs for two miles from the Crown Center into Midtown and then to the River Market District on the banks of the Missouri River. Taking your own car is another great way to get around the city as there is ample parking and the city is quite car friendly. If you have a bike there are over 600 miles of cycle tracks through the city that you can use. Most buses have a bike rack so you can get around quite easily with the closest bus stop just 3 minutes from the house.
