Beautiful secluded setting on Wolf Lake. Private studio apartment with full kitchen and bath. Stunning lake view and full lake access with use of kayaks, canoe and dock in the adjacent cove. Private patio with fire pit and grill. Paradise Falls trailhead 1 mile away. Close to Panthertown Valley Backcountry Area with multiple trails and waterfalls. 45 minutes from Brevard, Sylva and Cashiers, NC. Easy drive to Asheville and Biltmore House. Onsite parking. Well behaved pets welcome The space The rental unit is a 400 square foot studio apartment with full amenities and a huge picture window overlooking Wolf Lake and Wolf Mountain. Guests are welcome to use the adjoining patio with a table and chairs, gas grill and fire pit. The short trail takes you to Lena’s Cove where the dock provides access to the lake for swimming and use of the kayaks and canoe. Guest access We are located on a gravel dead-end road. Neighborhood is safe for walking around the lake. Area is secluded and remote. Onsite parking is available for one vehicle. Space is available on road for extra vehicles. Other things to note There are no close grocery stores or gas stations!! I highly recommend you come prepared or stop and shop in either Sylva, Brevard or Cashiers before you head up the mountain! The closest store or gas station is a Dollar General 13 miles away in Tuckasegee. The nearest restaurant (14 miles) is Villa Amato on Hwy 64 in Lake Toxaway with great pizza and Italian food! There is a gas station about a mile past the restaurant on Hwy 64 in Sapphire. Cellular phone service - there is NONE!!!! There is a house phone available for your use in emergencies. Wifi is available. However it is provided by a satellite dish and we do not have unlimited data. Service is typically slow. Please, no streaming of shows and movies! Once data is used you will still have service, it will just be slower. We do have a DVD player - bring your favorite movies!
