Canal Front/Game Room/Short Walk to Beach/PingPong

Relax with family, fishing weekend with friends, or enjoy a private getaway on our canal front home with dock, just a short walk to Alligator Point beaches. Flip-Flop Hideaway is a perfect escape on Florida's Forgotten Coast. So many options for fun without screentime: play in the gameroom, get out the cornhole, fish off the dock, bike the new trail, kayak the bay, or just sit back with a book and birdwatch in our shady backyard. The house is full of amenities; all you need are your flip flops. The space 2 bedrooms (one with a king bed and the other has a sleep number queen.) Additionally there is a relatively large curtained off bunkroom with a twin over full bunkbed and a twin bed with pop-up trundle -- we have a bed-bridge and king linens available if you do decide to make it into a king . There's a full bath with tub/shower combo and a half bath with sink and comfort-height toilet. The king bedroom also has an en-suite bathroom with shower. There is also a very basic shower and laundry sink downstairs in the basement located at the bottom of the stairs if you'd also like to use that. Additionally, there is an outdoor shower when you just need to wash off sand and/or dirt. Since Alligator Point is a bit remote (15 minutes to the closest restaurant) a full kitchen is a must. Ours comes with the usual dishes and pots & pans plus a pantry with many cooking basics and several small appliances including a microwave, Instant Pot, large air-fryer, blender, hand-mixer, ice cream maker, electric can opener, Margarita maker, Keurig coffee maker, and a multi-option coffee maker for making a pot of coffee or espresso. Of course there's also a laundry area, dining space, and living room where you'll find Foosball, karaoke, and several board games., And in addition to our screened porch (with a ping-pong table), there's also a deck out back -- both are great places to sit and relax. You also have a game room in the downstairs with air hockey, skeeball, magnet darts, TV, a kid's blackboard wall, and a bar/shelf to sit with your drink and watch the game (professional or the kids). Lastly, we have both a large front yard and backyard which are perfect for lawn games (we have corn-hole boards & bags and Bocce ball) and hanging out watching the white squirrels play and the many birds that love to fly around. NOTE We like to host from a place of generosity and therefore we provide a few extras to enjoy during your stay. Extras: • Coffee is provided, a few Keurig cups & regular ground coffee • A selection of teas • Coffee / Tea accompaniments including sugar, stevia, and creamer • Breakfast bars & instant oatmeal (just in case you arrive late and weren't able to get to the store) Guest access Guests have access to the entire upstairs, the downstairs half-bath with shower, and the front and back yards. Except for the shower downstairs, the rest of the basement is storage area which is locked and unavailable to guests. EV Vehicle: We have a NEMA 14-50 outlet for a plug in level 2 charger for your EV vehicle. Just bring your cable. Other things to note Any cleaning issues must be brought to our attention within 6 hours of your arrival. 2 Pet Limit -- Dogs Only The pet fee is $125. While we do not provide kayaks for guests to use, if you bring your own, we do have kayak racks downstairs in the basement area and some outside. Also, 21 Palms has kayaks and stand-up paddleboards for you to rent and will deliver them to the house for use during your stay.
