Former farmhouse converted into 3 cottages on the edge of village in Provence Occitane. Surface area: 240 m2: - Roses house (3 bedrooms) with a large kitchen and a living room to accommodate 8 people; - and 2 smaller cottages with each: one bedroom, a bathroom and a day room with sofa bed and a dining area. That's a maximum of 15 beds. Common meal possible at the terrace or living room of the Roses house. 1700 m2 plot, 4x9m swimming pool set back. The space Former farmhouse converted into 3 cottages on the edge of village in Provence Occitane in the Cèze valley, close to the Ardeche. Surface area: 240 m2: - Roses house (3 bedrooms) for 8 people with a large kitchen and living room, - Passiflore cottages (1 bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room), 1 bathroom with toilet and a balcony with a stone house view. - Succulent cottages ( 1 bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room), a terrace with table for 4 people. That's a maximum of 15 beds for all 3 cottages. Shared meals can be taken at the terrace or living room of the Roses house. The grounds are 1700m2, the 4x9m swimming pool is set back with a beautiful view of the Cèze Gorges! Guest access The house is in a village perched in the Cèze Valley near the Ardeche. It will be entirely reserved for your rental. From car parking a few steps give access to the private terrace of the house. Parking and pool are shared with our family we live right next door in an old landscaped stable. Other things to note We live there so we can provide you with the best information. From your base, ideally located in the Cèze valley, you can access the place called Courau and its bathing beaches, a canoe/kayak rental and a popular tavern, many hiking and mountain biking trails start from the village. Less than 5 minutes by car, is the village of Goudargues nicknamed "La petite Venise Gardoise" with its bars and restaurants on the banks of its bucolic canals. • Things to see nearby, 4 villages classified as "The most beautiful villages of France ®": Montclus (5'), La Roque-Sur-Cèze with its magnificent waterfalls of Sautadet (10'), Aiguèze (20') and its cliffs overlooking the Ardèche or Lussan (25'), a village perched within its ramparts, offering a 360° view of the scrubland, the lavender fields, the hills of the Cevennes foothills and even Mont Ventoux. • The gates of the Ardèche open quickly to you in the north: With Barjac (15'), its summer markets and its famous antique fair, and the fabulous space of the Ribaute by Anselm Kiefer. The Ardèche Gorges and its canoe descents (30'). • Exceptional caving sites to visit: The Forestière cave (< 15') and the Orgnac avenue (Grand site de France, 15'). La Salamandre Cave (20’, Méjeannes-Le-Clap); The famous Chauvet cave and its prehistoric paintings (50’, near Vallon-Pont-d'Arc); • The Pont du Gard (<1h) and the renowned ancient cities: - Uzès, its pool of source for the Roman aqueduct, its duchy, its many tourist attractions including its Provencal market square full of life (45’), - Orange, its ancient theater, its triumphal arch (one of the best preserved in the world) (45’), - Avignon, its ramparts and Popes' Palace (50’), - The Pont du Gard, a Unesco World Heritage Site, with its museum and shows, sound and light (1 hour away), - Nîmes and its Arenas and other famous ancient remains as well as the Museum of Romanity (1h15).
