Rent ID# 23-67 4 Season Home for relaxation, hiking and skiing! Bring the whole family to this great home with lots of room for fun. This house has it all! The community children’s playground is steps away from the house. There is a basketball hoop on the property & plenty of trees. During the summer, there’s a public beach with lifeguard hours & lake access to swim, BBQ & lounge by the lake. We have beach towels, rolling cooler, and beach chairs available for guests. The space For amazing outdoor activities, our house provides a two person kayak with paddles and life jackets. Greenwood lake has pontoon and boat rentals (contact them directly for latest rates). Please check our guidebook to see some recommendations for activities, village restaurants, cafes and local small businesses with handcrafted items. Also, if looking to explore, Cascade Falls is a stunning waterfall, hiking in Harriman State Park and Appalachian Trail Boardwalk, farms for u-pick vegetables & fruit. Our home with 5 bedrooms (7 beds) and 3 full baths has it all! TWO wood burning fireplaces, Jacuzzi bath tub, granite counter tops, dining room and living room surrounded by windows. Upper and lower level living areas which include sectional sofa, wall mounted large screen Amazon Fire TVs. Sleeping accommodations for up to 10 people: 1 king bedroom with work desk and master suite bathroom (with double vanity, shower and jacuzzi), 1 bedroom with 1 queen bed and work desk, 1 bedroom with queen bed, 1 bedroom with a twin over full bunk bed, and 1 bedroom with two full beds plus a queen air mattress (stored in closet next to laundry room). We have toys and accommodations for infants & toddlers. An outdoor deck with lots of seating, separate fire pit area and a gas BBQ grill. Kitchen appliances include: electric stove/range, dishwasher, fridge, freezer with ice maker, microwave, toaster, blender, keurig coffee pot, drip coffee pot, French press coffee pot, popcorn air popper, electric tea kettle, s'more sticks, and waffle maker. An iron, ironing board, washer, and dryer are also available. For guests with an infant/toddler, there is a booster seat for dining room table, pack 'n' play equipped with a mattress plus bassinet attachment, changing pad, split screen baby monitor with two cameras, two sound machines, 2 baby gates stored in closet, Nightlights around the house and kid friendly forks/spoons, cups, plates and bowls. This place has it all! Enjoy the gorgeous Greenwood Lake, Mt Peter Skiing, Bear Mountain Skiing, the Appalachian trail, cascade water fall, apple picking and other farm activities, breweries, creamery, Renaissance Faire and the cozy towns of Tuxedo, Warwick and Sugarloaf are less than 10 minutes away. HUGE Weekly & Monthly discounts and savings, please inquire for bigger discounts on longer stays! Our house is warm, spacious and clean with tons of amenities that would be a TOP PICK for groups of any size. Our home has a ground floor bedrooms and a few steps to the entrance - it's a great choice for those with elderly relatives (It is not wheelchair accessible). NOTE: We are pet friendly - a cleaning fee may be assessed per pet. In case you have forgotten anything, check the bathroom drawers stocked with items to help make your stay comfortable (blow dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, qtips, band aids, Tylenol, touch less thermometer, disposable toothbrushes, etc.) Permit # 23-67 Guest access entire house Other things to note BEACH ACCESS! Seasonal public beach passes available for access to the public beach 6 adults and children under 6 are free, additional passes available for purchase at the beach for $10/day (2024 rate). Sadly, pets are not allowed on the beaches. Always have a life jacket on while using a kayak, boat, or paddle board. ***Other things to note*** This house runs on a SEPTIC SYSTEM. Absolutely nothing can be flushed down the toilet other than bodily functions and toilet paper found in the house. WELL WATER: Please do not run more than two water amenities at a time such as dishwasher, laundry, and showers. Jacuzzi should be used only when other water amenities are not in use. GARBAGE: Please NEVER leave food or garbage outside of the garbage pails in the shed. There are raccoons, deer and black bears close by! Place garage in shed. Greenwood Lake recycles paper, metal and plastic together. You will find the clear bags in the kitchen for the recycling. The pail by the curb is for recycling only and no food soiled recycling material is allowed in this pail. DRIVING: No drinking and driving please! There are cops on the roads to maintain a strict 25 mph speed limit in Greenwood Lake, 15 mph at night. BUGS: For the spring and summer, bring bug spray and keep the windows closed at night. It’s suggested to have a Citronella candle close by when eating outdoors in the evening. We also have a rechargeable and plug in bug repellers at the house.
