Mornings begin quietly with coffee in hand as light filters through the pines, while evenings invite you to settle in by the fire or unwind in the warmth after a day outdoors. Sleeping arrangements The suite accommodates up to six guests across two bedrooms. The primary bedroom features a king bed, while the second bedroom includes two sets of twin XL bunk beds. Each space is prepared with bed linens, extra pillows, and thoughtful touches to support a comfortable night’s rest. Living area Inside, an open layout connects the living room, dining space, and kitchen, creating an easy flow for relaxing or gathering together. A gas indoor fireplace adds warmth during colder days, while radiant heating keeps the space comfortable throughout your stay. A 50 inch HDTV with Roku and Wifi provide entertainment when you’re ready to wind down. Kitchen & dining The kitchen is equipped for preparing meals at home, with appliances and space to cook and dine comfortably. A dining table offers a place to gather, whether you’re starting the day or returning from the slopes. Outdoor living Set directly beside the creek, the outdoor space offers a quiet place to take in the surroundings. The private patio includes seating, a hammock, and a BBQ grill. After a day of skiing or exploring nearby trails, the private hot tub offers a relaxing way to end the evening under the open sky. Location & access Located just above downtown Winter Park, the suite offers convenient access to both outdoor recreation and local spots. A nearby shuttle stop connects you to Winter Park Ski Resort, while trails for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and hiking begin close by. Restaurants, shops, and entertainment are within a short distance. Additional features The home includes a private entrance, free driveway parking for two vehicles, and in-unit washer and dryer. Safety features such as smoke and carbon monoxide alarms are in place, along with exterior security cameras facing the front door, yard, and driveway. The property is pet-friendly and supports self check-in with a smart lock, as well as long-term stays. Please review and let me know if you have any questions. Thanks again, and I hope you have a wonderful time! John General Information Directions from Denver – Take I70 West to the Empire/US 40 exit. Follow US 40 through Berthoud Pass. After going through the pass, you will pass the Mary Jane entrance on the left, then you will come to the main entrance to the Winter Park Ski Resort. Go past the resort and into the Town of Winter Park, about 2.5 miles, then take a left on Vasquez Road. Follow Vasquez to a 3 way stop, and take a left on Arapahoe Road. Follow Arapahoe for a short distance, and take a right on Alpine Way. Our home is directly at the end of the Cul De Sac, 39 Alpine Way. The guest house entrance is the full glass door to the right of the front door. Your user specific code to enter the guest door will be the last four digits of the phone number on the reservation. To enter the door, press the button at the top of the key pad that says “Yale”, then enter your user code, and hit the bottom right button that looks like a check mark and is blue. In order to lock the door, close the door and press the “Yale” button, the deadbolt will latch. Your code will work for the duration of your stay. Please remove all shoes upon entering the home at the top or bottom of the stairs. We have a bench for taking off your shoes, and mud trays to place your shoes in in the foyer. Please note – the unit has heat only. There is no AC in the mountains. A remote control operates the fireplace and is on the coffee table. Please be sure to turn the fireplace off when not in the room. The gas grill is there for you to use. The gas is turned off at the tank. If you use the grill, please be sure to turn off the gas at the tank when you are done. The WiFi network is “Guest”. Once you select the “Guest” network, you will be redirected to a sign in sheet. There is no password. Check in is at 4:00 PM, and checkout is at 10:00 AM. Your code on the door will stop working at these times. There is additional toilet paper stored under both of the vanities. The hot tub is for your use. Please be sure to put the cover back on when you are done. IF THE COVER IS NOT PUT BACK ON, IRREPARABLE FREEZE DAMAGE CAN RESULT! PLEASE DO NOT USE ANY BATH OILS, SUNBLOCK, ETC… IN THE HOT TUB. IT WILL CLOG THE FILTERS AND THE TUB WILL SHUT DOWN! Please shower prior to using the hot tub. Any residual soap on your person or your clothes will make the hot tub very sudsy. Max hot tub capacity is 5 PEOPLE. Exceeding this capacity will cause the tub to overflow, and then when you get out, it will shut down due to a low water condition. There is an extra charge if we have to send the hot tub maintenance man out to get the tub filled back up and running. If for ANY REASON the hot tub stops working, call me IMMEDIATELY to avoid damage. Upon departure, please load and run the dishwasher. The cleaning lady will take care of the rest. WE ASK THAT YOU TREAT OUR HOME AS YOU WOULD TREAT YOURS! Quiet hours are between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM. Please note – Grand County and Winter Park currently have a fire ban. No outdoor fires of any type are permissible. You can use the gas grill. The local police are rigidly enforcing this. There is a trash can in front of the garage for any of your trash. It is a bear proof trash can. Please, when you put trash in the can, make sure it latches shut. The bears will make a huge mess if they get ingo the trash can.
