Our Luxury Glamping Cabins are fully furnished & have everything you need to stay comfortable including foam mattress beds, linens & towels, kitchenette comfortable outdoor furniture, hammock, firepit & more! If you want to enjoy the great Texas outdoors without the setup & hassle of tent camping, while having all the creature comforts of home, our Luxury Glamping Cabins are for you! The space By renting this luxury Glamping cabin, you and your guests will enjoy the beautiful scenery and tranquility of Son's Blue River Camp, which is located on the San Marcos River with its blue spring water and majestic tree-lined banks. Sit around the campfire at night and gaze at Texas's big, bright starry sky! We are surrounded by large ranches, making it an excellent outdoor experience to get away from it all! Son's Blue River Camp is a fun and relaxing property located in beautiful San Marcos R. with 44 cabins, 36 cabins, and float and kayak rentals. Guests from all over the state come to enjoy the blue water fed by San Marcos R springs that have a good constant flow, excellent fishing, and are perfect for tubing and kayaking. The property is clean and well maintained and is run by friendly and professional staff. Our glamping cabins have everything you need to be comfortable while enjoying the outdoors. There are 40 luxury glamping cabins in total, #'s: 1-16 come with: 1 queen size bed with foam mattress, 1 double sofa bed with an additional double mattress available on request. They also have a small kitchen with a mini fridge, coffee maker, electric stove with pots and pans, and a blender. We do not provide cutlery or dishes, so be sure to bring them. Bed linens and towels are provided in our luxury Glamping cabins. For indoor entertainment and relaxation, guests will find a smart TV and a DVD player. Outdoor amenities include: comfortable wicker seats, hammocks, fire pits, barbecues, picnic table, outdoor lighting, water, and electricity. Guest access Our Glamping cabins are located on a hill overlooking the riverbed and can be quickly reached on foot. Guests can explore and use the many amenities of the Rive Camp azul de Son, which include chairs and umbrellas along the river bank, the many hammocks that are distributed around the property, the beach volleyball court, the bonfires and more. There are 15 full private bathrooms with locks located directly behind the Glamping cabins. You can temporarily park and unload at your cabin and then park in the parking lot behind the Glamping cabins. Other things to note Son's Blue River campground also rents cabins along the river that can be added to guests' stay, but it's best to book in advance as we're usually full every day in the summer and most weekends. The cabins are available from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM and feature a picnic table, barbecue, comfortable wicker outdoor furniture, water, and electricity. Cabin rentals are additional, although cabin guests can use picnic tables, chairs, and umbrellas by the water at no charge. We also rent floats and kayaks. We have another location 2 miles upstream, which is our tubing/kayak facility. Shuttles come and go during peak season every day and most weekends during low season (however, we don't operate shuttles in winter and shuttles must be scheduled). Our section of the river is very family-friendly and has no dams or dangerous rapids. It's a great place for beginners to kayak and almost anyone can tube. We provide free life jackets for swimmers or weak swimmers.
