There is also a convenient 1/2-bathroom, laundry room, sliding door walkout to the deck & hot tub, and access to the garage on this floor. Head to the second floor to find the 3 private bedrooms, including the main suite which boasts a king bed, a day bed with trundle, and 3-piece bathroom with delightful dual sink vanity and shower/tub combo. The other 2 well-appointed bedrooms offer a variety of sleeping options one being a bunk room with full-over-queen bed, the other a king bedroom. There are also 2 additional twin fold up beds to accommodate individual guest sleeping preferences, and the home can comfortably accommodate up to 11 guests. To help keep morning and bedtime routines on schedule, a second full bathroom with shower/tub combo is also upstairs. Outdoor living is wonderfully sublime here: a private deck with comfy seating and a BBQ grill leads to a 7-person hot tub and fire pit. Not only are we less than 4 miles from the USAFA, we are also walking distance to Fox Run Park where there are playgrounds and trails, and just 5 minutes from the Polaris Pointe shopping center with retailers, restaurants, and plenty of family fun spots. For the kiddos (or the kid in you) there’s Top Golf, Overdrive Raceway, and AirCity 360 Adventure Park. Once you’ve worked up an appetite, enjoy a sit-down meal at a wide variety of restaurants or grab and go with fast-food options such as Chick-fil-A, Subway, and Wendy’s. Need to gear up for a big hike? Bass Pro Shops is also here along with a few gas stations, convenience stores and Starbucks. And hopefully you won’t need it but just in case, UC Health Emergency Room is directly across the street from the Polaris Pointe center. Guest access Whispering Pines is one-half of a duplex style home which means there is a shared wall between the adjacent home. Always be mindful of noise, especially between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. Guests have full access to their side of the property including the driveway, back deck, front & back yards, and the 1-car garage. There is parking for up to 4 more vehicles in the driveway. Boats, RVs and trailers are welcome here and can park on property. We have shore power for RVs but no waste dump facilities.
