Other things to note * Our Apartment is above a Children's clothing store; it is the entire second floor of the historic 1886 building * There are 30 stairs to climb, with a landing halfway up! * Quiet hours are from 11pm to 5am - per city rules * We are an allergy friendly space - we love animals, but we do not allow them on our property **********NO DESIGNATED PARKING*********** There is city street, city parking lot, and residential neighborhood street parking available. Detailed parking options are sent to all guest prior to arrival. * We provide sound machines in every room, including the library bedroom. * We provide a filtered cold and hot water dispenser, though, the tap water is very safe to drink, this is an amenity that we love ourselves and want to share. * We provide standing air conditioner units that give great cool comfort on the hottest Michigan days! * This building was built in 1886, filled with the charm of age and history the floors may creek and the doors may squeak but there isn't a moment where life isn't full in this lovely old space! * The building uses radiant heat, it's the most charming heating system with amazing old original radiators that bring so much character to the space. You can hear the water running through the pipes at times, like a peaceful waterfall. This is a beautifully even kind of heat and keeps things nice and warm in the winter months. The radiators can get fairly warm to the touch, so be aware with little children.
