The 125-year-old farmhouse is located at about 500 m in a very quiet location in the middle of the Rhön Biosphere Reserve, an ideal starting point for hiking, biking and enjoying nature. The house can accommodate up to 8 people, and it can also be comfortably furnished for 2. The house is fully equipped. Network cables in all rooms, very good Wi-Fi on each floor, desks in each room and a large attic also allow very good remote working. The space The farmhouse, originally built in a half-timbered construction, has been lovingly completely renovated. The facade was insulated with natural building materials and has a ventilated larch wood facade made of untreated wood. Triple-glazed wooden lattice windows are installed throughout the house. In the interior, the exterior walls were prepared with clay plaster and soft wood fiber boards. The house impresses with a pleasant indoor climate. In the entire house (except for the bathroom and entrance area) there are solid wood planks. Wherever possible, the room-length old planks were refurbished or new planks made of Rhön oak were laid. The rooms in the spacious house are equipped with farmhouse furniture from the region, carpentry work from old Berlin planks (3 beds and kitchen), 2.3 nostalgic pieces and supplemented by a few modern pieces of furniture. Overall, a nice mix of farmhouse flair with modern elements awaits you. The house is very quiet on approx. 500 m and the dirt roads for hikes and bike tours from the house are 100 m away.
