Welcome to Happy Tails animal sanctuary we are a nonprofit animal rescue in palisade wine country. 10 acre animal sanctuary w alpaca, goats, pigs, dogs, chickens peacocks even a emu that all free range. Fish, kayak, paddleboard, canoe on our 2 acre fully stocked fishing lake. Float the Colorado river from Riverbend park in Palisade to our private beach. The views of the Colorado river, Grand Mesa & mount Garfield are breathtaking the animals are all friendly and love people The space The private guest house is attached to the owners house through a locking door NO interior space is shared the guest house is 100% private only outdoor areas are shared the beach, lake, parking, animal pens, gardens are all shared with owners and other guest. There are multiple rentals on this 10 acre property. Our dogs free range the entire property and will hang out around the patio of this house. This property is for animal loving people our animals are rescues and must be treated kindly. You are welcome to feed the animals fruits and veggies they appreciate the goodies Guest access the entire 10 acre property is available to explore, fish in lake & river canoe, kayaks, paddle boards, beach, animal pens are all shared areas w the owners, caretakers, other guest and workers. The animals free range the property this is their home and must be treated kindly. This is a working farm there are workers and equipment that work the property from time to time Other things to note The owners & caretaker lives on site and always available to help w any issues, There is also another house w short term rental on the property so there are other guest on property at times. The property is 10 acres so there is plenty of privacy for everyone. Our dogs are very social and are always around.
