A little piece of Heaven

2 people max cozy cottage with all the amenities of home with a lakefront view. There's a firepit for those colder nights and kayaks & peddleboats for the more adventurous ones, or just sit back and take in some sun on our beautiful dock. Centrally located in between the Veterans Expressway and I 275, minutes from shopping, Lake Park, Adventure Island and Busch Gardens ...Lutz has something for everyone, don't let your friends and family stay in a hotel, we've got it all waiting right here! The space Take a step back into old Florida with our cozy cottages built in the 50's and welcome to our Little Piece of Heaven...it's nestled on a natural spring fed lake. Plenty of fishing and sunsets for all. This is a unique property with 2 cottages; a 1 bedroom & a 2 bedroom, we live on premise in a separate house on almost 1.5 acres but give all guests the privacy and access to almoat everything. Just like a home away from home. For additional space, feel free to check out our 2 bedroom. A Little Piece of Heaven 2 Guest access The fire pit, dock and boats are for all to use. The only boat not to be used which does not have a plug in it is the Jon boat. First come first serve but please be mindful of other guests. We have also added another peddleboat recently. Please be sure to flip the kayaks on their side so if it rains it doesn’t puddle in the vessels. The property and lake access are for registered guests only. If planning on having guests, please ask first if we can accommodate others for the comfort of all. Other things to note Update* Florida is in a bad drought and the lake is very low, I will remove this when the lake starts to fill up again. You can still fish and use the water vessels but from the dock is really low. **I use scented cleaners and dryer sheets for all of my linens, if you are scent sensitive please advise me of this when booking, so if possible I can make sure not to use those certain products, I want you to feel as comfortable as possible** Dryer-When using the dryer, put it on permanent press marker past the 70 min.mark. Water-This cottage has well water and a septic tank..it is not city water. We have a brand new water system in place. Please conserve water and do not run it unnecessarily, please only toilet paper down the toilet. A.C.- the air conditioner MUST stay on the setting “auto” NOT “on”, please conserve energy, especially when leaving for the day or when departing turning the lights off and turning the a.c.up or heat down. This helps us keep our prices on the lower side. Noise-quiet time should start around 10 p.m.or so, there are neighbors please be respectful of noise and cussing. This is a residential area that is in the “country” but still has the possibility of regular daily noise such as a house being constructed,garbage and recycle trucks, delivery trucks, people having their lawns done, dogs (we have 2 cats and 2 well behaved dogs ourselves), you may or may not here a couple of rounds going off by a kid practicing for the Jr.Olympics who lives on a lot of acreage down the way,kids playing or riding bikes, golf carts etc. Smoking-is allowed on porch or outside only. Please do not throw cigarette butts in the yard or especially in our lake,there is an ashtray on the front porch, any excessive trash in our yard will result in a $250 clean up fee and make sure to dump it before leaving. We do not smoke and appreciate your right to but we do not want to clean up anyone's ashtray. Any cigarette burns in or on the furniture will result in cost of replacing items. Additional guests-if wanting to have guests please ask prior to, the property and amenities are for registered guests only. We appreciate friends and family time but this is not a “hang out house”. This is not a property where your entire family or friend group comes to hang out everyday, this is a spot for resting and solace. Parking is limited. Although we want you as comfortable as possible the furniture must stay in place.Any furniture arranging will result in an additional fee!!
