Luxury Montenegro Villa - views across Kotor Bay

The 400 year-old heritage property has been fully restored and modernised to provide all the comforts of 21st century living, while retaining all the charm of its long history. Located high up on the Lustica peninsula, the villa has dramatic, 180-degree views of the Bay of Kotor and the Lovcen mountains, and is nestled on a peaceful hillside surrounded by olive groves, small stone hamlets and fishing villages. The villa benefits from a daily housekeeper and luxury Bramley toiletries. The space Villa Stari Mlin provides stylish and comfortable accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 individually designed and decorated rooms, each with its own ensuite bath or shower room. Two of the rooms have zip-lock superking beds that can be divided to create single beds. Villa Stari Mlin is decorated with a combination of English and continental antique and contemporary furniture. There is a large sitting room, spacious kitchen-dining room, and a covered verandah for outdoor dining, with stunning views onto the rural landscape and the sea and mountains beyond. The stunning private Mediterranean garden includes a 10-metre pool, large stone-paved sun terrace and a shady pergola with summer kitchen, fridge and barbecue. Guests will not want to leave this stunning hillside sanctuary; but should they want to, the medieval UNESCO-protected seaside fortress town of Kotor, the idyllic Venetian republic maritime towns of Rose and Perast and the glitz of Porto Montenegro, Europe’s largest super-yacht marina, with its clubs, boutiques, spas and restaurants, are all a short drive away. The house is well-served by supermarkets, by local restaurants serving fresh local fish and seafood, and there are several beaches within a 15 minute drive. The nearest international airport is Tivat (20 minutes), and both Dubrovnik and Podgorica airports are less than two hours drive. Other things to note We do offer wedding packages, so please do contact us if you are interested in hosting your special day at our villa. We can accommodate 10 overnight guests and 20 additional day guests, totalling 30 wedding day guests. Please note that before your booking begins, you will need to verify your details and ID through Know Your Guest. A refundable deposit of £750 * is due 14 days before arrival and released 14 days after departure (subject to any retentions). This is processed via our designated guest screening provider, Superhog, who use Know Your Guest to confirm guest identity allowing us to protect our property and protect you by securely holding your deposit. This process must be completed at time of booking. * A 2% transaction fee will be charged by Superhog at the time of deposit payment. However, this will be deducted from your final balance, as we will cover this cost.
