SEASONAL HOT TUB AVAILABLE MAY 15-OCT 15‼️CURRENTLY CLOSED‼️ Our cottage is right on Megunticook Lake! With swimming, boating and mountain views, this is the perfect place to relax and unwind. We are walking distance to Camden Hills State Park, and a 5 minute drive to downtown and the ocean. Come for adventure, shopping, gourmet restaurants, hiking, skiing, or romantic sunset sails on a local schooners. There is something for everyone in this beautiful area. Come see it for yourself! ‼️NO PETS‼️ Megunticook Retreat is a cozy space, perfect for up to 2 guests! We have a brand new queen mattress in the bedroom, queen sofa bed (bedding available on request) in the living room, which also includes a smart tv. The kitchen is fully stocked with any essentials you may need including cookware, spices, grilling tools, etc. There is seating for 2 at the table, and a water cooler for cooking and drinking water. Outside we have a lakeside covered porch with 2 outdoor chairs, a picnic table and dock for swimming and relaxing. We also have a beautiful partially shaded lawn, and an outdoor grill. There is a seasonal private hot tub available May 15 through October 15. There is also a standby generator, which will come on automatically should there be a power outage during your stay. You will have access to the whole property. The shed and basement are locked for owners use only. We are local, and available by phone at any time during your stay. We are on a very quiet private camp road. This is a popular road for walking, and there are small children in the area. Please drive slowly! We have private parking for 2 vehicles. Bedding for sofa bed is available upon request. For the ultimate relaxing vacation we offer our refresh cleaning service for stays of 9 nights or longer. This includes vacuuming, surface disinfection, 1 load of towels washed (as needed) sheet change, and bathroom wiped down and sanitized. Please let us know at time of booking, or any time during your stay, if you would like to add this service. Upon booking, you will be asked to confirm that you have read our house rules. Specifically we will need you to verify number of guests, no guests under age 18, and confirm that you will not be bringing pets. ‼️Failure to comply with our house rules may result in additional fees or eviction without a refund‼️
