Annsborough House is large, spacious and full of Georgian grandeur and filled with antiques; one of the great 'linen houses' of Ireland, built in 1790. It has 8 bedrooms, and is situated on a private site of approx 1 acre, 1 mile from Castlewellan Village. It has a hot tub (extra £) and additional space in rear stables, as well as swings, football goals, and extensive gardens. It is a 10 min from Newcastle, and 50 min from Belfast. Michael V, who also owns the highly rated Inch Schoolhouse. The space There are 8 bedrooms (master bedroom with ensuite) and 3 reception rooms.. The beautifully proportioned accommodation is both spacious and gracious with many outstanding individual features. There is a large dining room and a very large disco/cinema room (extra charge). The gardens which surround the property are mature and private. There is an outdoor hot tub (extra charge). Additionally there are function rooms in the rear (extra charge). Guest access Guests have full access to the entire house except NO laundry room access. laundry room access is only open for guests staying for a week and longer Pet allowed on request. No pets allowed in hot tub or upstairs or on carpets, not allowed on beds/sofas or any soft furnishings or remove cushions for pets to sleep on, there will be an extra cleaning charge if so, thanks for your assistance. EXTRA CHARGES The Airbnb price is for 16 guests, as that is the maximum the site allows for, but we can sleep more than that. There is a £50 per person, per night, charge for extra guests above 16. Hot tub: £150 for the first night, and £50 per night thereafter. Disco/cinema room £50 for equipment rental and setup. Function room in rear - charge depends on the event, and other requirements such as tables, chairs, sound/lighting, etc. Other things to note Close to the Royal Downe Golf Course, Castlewellan Forest Park, Dundrum and beaches, and well as many Game of Thrones filming sites. Whitewater Brewery is walking distance from the house and does excellent tours.
