“Anavasis” was designed to present its guests the history of initial climbing to the top of Olympus on August 2, 1913, through the lens of modern and minimalist aesthetics. It is the perfect starting point for a mythic mountain excursion by describing the experience of first explorers, Fred. Boissonas, D. Baud-Bovy and Christos Kakkalu. The space “Anavasis” apartment describes the time of the arrival of Olympus but with a modern glimpse and removing aesthetic. It consists of a bedroom with a queen-size bed and a spacious living room-kitchen with a sofa turned into a comfy bed for two. Spaces are equipped with smart flat screen TVs, pick-up sound system, and high-quality Bluetooth speaker to enjoy your music. The property also has a balcony with comfortable seating and a view from the front of the building. The bathroom has a shower. Free custom cleaning products are provided for our guests. You don't have to worry about towels and linens-it's all set when you arrive. The kitchen, is designed with functionality standards for making a meal of fresh local ingredients that you can get from the marketplace. It has a refrigerator, ceramic hotplate, oven, kitchen utensils, a toaster, a kettle, and a coffee maker with pods provided. In “Anavasis” you will find free WiFi with high speeds as well as air conditioning and a separate heating system. For your convenience, the property is equipped with a hair dryer and an iron. Feel like you're at home! “Anavasis” is located only 80 km from Thessaloniki and the access to public transport is direct. The Airport of Thessaloniki is 110 km (1 hour and 15 minutes drive), Litohorou Railway Station 5.5 km, the Suburban Bus Station 250m. The apartment is only 5min walking distance to Litohoro center, meeting point for both visitors and locals. Be sure to enjoy a walk through the City Park, 300m away! In the general area you can explore many sights, such as Ancient Dion (10 km) and Prionia Olympus (17 km). Inside the property you will find information on your transportation! Other things to note Litohoro is one of the most popular destinations, since it is the entrance gate to Olympus. In the area, in the early morning, bakeries and shops welcome you with warm cafes and delicious treats. The area where the property is located has super markets, cafes, bars, taverns and post office. You will also have the opportunity to have fun enjoying the award-winning beaches of Litohoro Plaka (5km). Every Monday there is a farmer's market where you will get the opportunity to buy traditional Greek cooking products. You can also park your car for free around the building where the apartment is located and move with it to Ancient Dion, to the city of Katerini or start your adventure on Olympus.
