It’s the ideal getaway for a relaxing vacation with family or friends. Nestled on a quiet street, the cottage offers lovely views of the Albemarle Sound. Just steps away, you’ll find the Bay Drive Multi-Use Path, a scenic 3-mile route perfect for walking or biking along the sound, leading you to the Wright Memorial. We are conveniently located less than a mile from various beach access points, a quick 3-minute drive to Hayman Blvd access with free parking, and only 3 minutes from the Avalon fishing pier. The dock street public boat ramp is just 2 minutes away, and a 5-minute walk will take you to the Hayman Blvd gazebo. Additionally, Hayman public park, featuring a children's play area, is just 2 minutes from the cottage. The house is perfectly sized for a small family or 3-4 couples looking to unwind. It is thoughtfully furnished and equipped with numerous amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. Inside, you’ll find 3 bedrooms, each featuring premium mattresses and linens, ceiling fans, and Roku TVs. There are also 2 full bathrooms and a cozy downstairs bunk room with a twin-over-queen bunk bed, ceiling fan, and Roku TV. Enjoy the covered upper deck and porch, as well as the carport/patio area that includes an outdoor shower, grill, Adirondack chairs, and a swing for relaxation. We make your arrival hassle-free by having all beds made prior to your stay, and we provide one bath towel and washcloth per person. Come and experience a perfect beach getaway at Sound-N-Beachy! Guest access You will have complete access to the entire home, including three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, a living room, a bunk room, and outdoor spaces. Please note that the garage and two locked storage areas under the patio are not available for guest use. Additionally, there are three closets and two locked pantries designated for the owners that are also off-limits. We kindly ask that you refrain from attempting to access these areas, as there is nothing of interest behind those doors. Thank you for your understanding! Other things to note We do not rent to guest under the age of 25. The person booking the property must be staying at our home. I.E. You may not rent the home for someone else, minors or other adults and not stay at the property. 8 adult guests max. 10 guest total. No parties or large gathering. No pets /animals allowed. We do not supply any child safety equipment, I.E., there are no child safety gates, door locks or cabinet locks in the home. The top bunk is not to be used for children under the age of 6 for safety reasons. Most of the neighbors are full time residents please be curious and keep noise down between during quiet hours 9pm-8 am. We have two outdoor cameras in place for security reasons, enabling us to monitor the property when it’s not occupied. At check-in, we review the camera footage to verify that guests have arrived, are within our maximum guest limit, are of the required age, and do not have any unauthorized pets. Additionally, we check the camera footage at checkout to confirm that guests have left the property, which allows us to inform our cleaning staff of their departure. A SIGNED RENTAL AGREEMENT and House Rules IS REQUIRED FOR BOOKING. After booking you will be asked via the message board for your email address. A DocuSign rental agreement and House Rules will be sent to you via email within 24-48 hours of booking. The document must be signed within 48 hours of receipt, or your booking will be canceled.
