Use the fully equipped kitchen and outdoor gas grill for home cooked meals between your West Virginia adventures. Goose Creek Retreat has an open floor plan that maximizes sunlight while also remaining private. The home is in a quiet residential neighborhood surrounded by trees. In the summer months the back deck feels like a treehouse and is surrounded by green leaves from mature trees. The property is entirely fenced in and yours to enjoy. We live next door and you may see our free-range chickens ambling by the shared fence as well as our friendly Newfie, Millie. I live next door and am available at any time for assistance, questions, or concerns. The house is located in a quiet residential area on a county road. The road is gravel and is what the county calls an "unimproved" road. A high-clearance vehicle is NOT required to navigate the 150 yards or so of the road—just drive slowly. However, in extreme winter conditions, all-wheel drive can be necessary. If booking in the winter and you do not have AWD, please let us know so we can provide alternatives and insure your trip goes smoothly.
