The McKenzie House sits on 2.5 private, quiet acres on the majestic McKenzie River, a half-mile walk from Loloma Lodge. A paradise for fly fishermen, cyclists, hikers, & skiers. Enjoy a riverfront sauna, hot outdoor shower, hot tub, & safe, easy river access. BBQ on the riverfront deck, picnic by the water or meadow, wander the woods, pick blackberries. Enjoy volleyball or horseshoes, campfire s'mores, hammock naps, swinging over the river, catching fish right in front of the deck, and more. The space Three bedrooms plus a bonus room. Rooms/Beds: -Master BR opens to river w/ king bed -Bedrooms 2 and 3 each have queen beds -Bunk Room has two queen beds on bottom and two extra long twin beds on top Guest access The space incudes full private access to over 2 acres of property including hot tub, sauna, outdoor shower, fly shop, bike cleaning station, riverfront, large lawn, volleyball court and more. There is a complementary sister space at the front end of the property called the Fern Cabin & Kitchen: airbnb.com/h/ferncabinandkitchen This unique rental includes a tiny A-frame cabin and open-air kitchen and dining space with a giant redwood slab dining table. The whole thing is available both as a separate neighboring rental or as a wonderful add-on to the McKenzie House. If you have a large group or would enjoy outdoor cooking or dining, consider renting both spaces together. If you're interested in adding the Fern Cabin & Kitchen to your stay, just let us know! Other things to note There is an $85 pet fee per stay for up to two pets, and a $65 extra guest fee per person per night for each guest beyond 8. Please let us know if you're interested in custom pricing for larger groups or additional pets. Note to pet owners: The sprawling property is a paradise for dogs, but the property is not fully fenced so plan accordingly.
