Gorgeous Puget Sound Views w/Huge Deck & Sunsets
The Gulls' Nest cozy cabin boasts a 180-degree view of Puget Sound. Relax on the 700 square foot deck with a view of Mt. Baker to the east and stunning sunsets to the west. Enjoy fishing, kayaking and walks on the beach. No ferry is needed to access Camano Island, just 60 miles north of Seattle. 1 dog allowed. No cats. This 1930's cottage is 800 square feet with an open living room, kitchen and dining nook creating a light, bright space. 1 queen bedroom & 1 twin bed + trundle if needed. You climb 20 stairs to access the front door and the great view. There is no dishwasher or washer/dryer. There is a barbeque, 32" t.v., fans, woodstove, air conditioner and internet. Two kayaks are also available for use on Puget Sound if weather and tides permit. One dog maximum allowed for extra fee. No cats. Two sloped parking spots are available in front of the cabin. It can be a challenge to get out of your car when parked uphill. We recommend doing a u-turn and parking downhill. We have enjoyed living in the Stanwood/Camano Island area for 18 years and know the area well. We are close at hand for any questions or concerns. We are happy to share recommendations for restaurants and things to do. Maple Grove boat ramp parking and launch is available for a daily charge. At low tide you can walk the beach and watch for seals and eagles! Camano Island State Park & Cama Beach State Park are 11 miles away with a large trail system, beaches, and views. Whidbey Island Naval Air Station is 10 miles across the water in Oak Harbor and on occasion the navy jets can be seen and heard. Our old and sensitive septic system requires rules on what can not go down the toilet or sink. They are posted at the cabin and in the guest manual.
