The villa unfolds over two stories and accommodates up to 10 guests in five individually designed double rooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom. The interiors seamlessly blend elegance and warmth, offering both communal spaces for gathering and private corners for relaxation. Spaces & Comfort Upon arrival, guests are welcomed and shown around before being led along a garden path to the villa’s private entrance. On the first floor, an open-plan living space awaits, featuring a cozy sitting area with a sofa lounge, armchairs, and coffee tables, alongside a dining area that comfortably seats 10 guests near a fireplace. A fully equipped kitchen provides everything needed for home-cooked meals, including a 4-point induction hob, oven, fridge and freezer, microwave, dishwasher, espresso machine, and other essentials. Three elegant double bedrooms are located on this floor, each furnished with a king-size bed (180cmx200cm), a smart TV, a wardrobe, and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. An internal staircase or direct access through the common stone courtyard leads to the ground floor, where guests will find an additional cozy sitting area, a small dining space for four, and a secondary kitchen equipped with a 2-point induction hob, small fridge and freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and espresso machine. On either side of this floor are two spacious double bedrooms, each with a king-size bed, a wardrobe, a desk, a smart TV, and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. For added flexibility, three of the five bedrooms can be arranged with two single beds (90cmx200cm) instead of a king-size bed upon request. The villa is equipped with heating and cooling systems for year-round comfort, and all windows feature mosquito nets and wooden shutters for full blackout when desired. Wi-Fi is available indoors and outdoors, though due to the rural setting, phone signal may be inconsistent. A laundry room with a washing machine and dryer is available for guests' convenience. Location & Stay Details Nestled between Siena and Florence, Podere Ferrale offers the perfect balance of seclusion and accessibility. The closest town, Castellina in Chianti, is just a short drive away, offering charming restaurants, shops, and local experiences. We offer flexible stays with a minimum stay ranging from 3 to 5 days. For stays over five days, the villa is refreshed mid-stay, including a change of towels, and bed linens are changed after seven days. Final cleaning is included, and for stays of five days or more, a complimentary mid-stay refresh (three hours of cleaning) is provided. Additional housekeeping and linen services are available upon request for an extra charge. Local tourist taxes are not included in the price. The tax is €2 per adult (14 years and older) per night, payable upon arrival. Catering services can be arranged for a more personalized dining experience. Guest access The Outdoors Our many comfortable and convivial outdoor spaces grant our guests endless opportunities for relaxation, cooking or dining together, savor local products, or simply “dolce far niente.” while enjoying the goodness of fresh air and extraordinary views of the surroundings. Right in front of the villa a grassy garden is available and equipped with some sun beds and sitting area that offers shade during the warmest day of summer. To the right side of the Villa, guests will find “La loggia” a charming covered and stone wall living area where to enjoy breakfast, a good reading, snack or dine in . Its elegant original arches, closed by glass doors, flow onto the common courtyard offering different sitting areas for entertainment and relaxation, where also a historic wood-fired oven is located, the star of frequent “pizza evenings” organized for our guests (upon request and at an extra cost). Right to the left-hand side of the Villa, and in close proximity to the swimming pool, guests will find a gazebo that guards an open kitchen with a BBQ, a convivial sitting and dining area ready to prepare and enjoy meals “al fresco”, snacks or aperitif at any time of your stay. Swimming Pool Secluded in the garden, and withing 100m distance from the Villa, a relaxing swimming pool (chlorine system, 12mx5m and depth ranging from 1.10m to 1.40m) provides a perfect spot for relaxation, weather you prefer a splash in the water, reading a book or an aperitif contemplating a magical sunset over-looking the stunning Chianti hills. The deck around the swimming pool is equipped with sun beds, parasols, coffee tables and a gazebo that provides shade to and outdoor dining area sitting 10 people. Wi-fi is available around the swimming pool and electrical outlets are conveniently located around the deck to provide an opportunity to recharge or power devices when needed. The swimming pool is usually open from May to September, but it could change upon request. Other things to note Important information Local taxes: please note that rates for local tourist tax (2 Euros per person per day) are excluded of the total cost and must be paid in place at arrival. Children under 12 years are exempted. Cleaning: Final cleaning is included in your total payment. A more frequent house-keeping service, can be arranged at an additional cost. Linens: all initial linens are included in your total payment, comprehensive of: bed, bathrooms and pool linens. Fresh linens can be provided when needed, depending on the quantity and frequency, additional fees might applied. Catering: complimentary breakfast or catering services can be provided and arranged, upon request and availability, at an extra cost. Parking: a private parking lot is located within the estate just steps away from the Villa. It can accommodate up to 15 vehicles. This space is shared with the owners and collaborators. Non-smoking indoors policy. Smoking is allowed outdoors and ash trays are provided to avoid unwanted cigarette-butts on the ground. Accidental damages: guests are responsible for any accidental damage carried out to the property, equipment and/or furniture during their stay and therefore responsible to cover repairing/replacement costs involved.
