Home in Pittsfield

Located in the charming town of Pittsfield Vermont, this comfy, quintessential Vermont home with a twist of modern sits amongst the trees on Hawk Mountain. With three levels and three bedrooms and a variety of bed sizes, this home can comfortably sleep 6 and offers room to spread out. All just 15 minutes to Killington or Pico. Golf, tubing, biking, hiking & kayaking all very close. The space Leave your skis at the door and enter into the welcoming foyer. This level offers 2 bedrooms, a full bath with washer/dryer as well as an office/yoga room. Head up to the main level where the stone fireplace with wood burning stove is the focal point of the open floor plan. With its comfy seating, this is the perfect place for relaxing after a long day of skiing, snowshoeing or hiking. For the warmer months, a door off the living room leads to the large deck (perfect for star gazing) overlooking the mountain woods and large yard. The bright dining area has banquette seating along with chairs that surround the dining table. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need including dishwasher, microwave and a Keurig - and all types of cocktail glasses for long nights by the fire. WiFi is great for streaming on the large TV. The spacious top floor bedroom has a full bath with double vanity. This is our home and not just a rental. We are happy to share it. Feel free to use condiments & spices, but please be considerate and do not eat our regular food. Guest access Self check-in with Keypad There is a long, somewhat steep driveway that goes next to the house. There is also an upper driveway for parking if the weather is bad and you don't have all wheel drive or snow tires. Other things to note Dogs are negotiable and have a separate $75 fee upon approval. If your dog gets on the furniture or bed, then this home is not a good fit for you. Guests must be 25+ years old and no more than 6 guests. The home is on NEST thermostats. If you are not familiar with them, please reach out during your visit. Upon departure, please be sure to close the flue if you used the wood stove and shut off all lights. Note: this is a mountain house so you drive up mountain roads to get here - not paved roads. You should have all-wheel or 4-wheel drive if it's snowing. If you are not sure how your vehicle handles, you may want to park in the upper driveway.
