Shadynook Cottages is located 2 blocks from the heart of downtown Forks which makes it close to city amenities such as restaurants and shopping and a short driving distance from hiking, sight seeing, beach combing, or exploring. Cabin 1 includes it's own separate driveway and a deck with table and chairs to enjoy. Cottage 1 was remodeled at the end of summer 2020. It has a brand new, fully stocked kitchen, all new floors/carpet, on-demand hot water heater, and it’s own WiFi service. Cottage 1 is a small, cozy, and very clean. The living room space has a small sofa which is also a sofa bed and an additional chair for watching TV. The dining table has 4 chairs and is visible from both the living area and the kitchen. The kitchen is small, yet well-stocked. The fridge and stove are smaller than average models. The bathroom is small with a narrow door and has a shower, no bathtub. The bedroom is just past the bathroom door. It has a queen bed and is an open, small space with no door. Cottage 1 has it's own driveway. One to two vehicles will fit in the driveway depending on their size. Extra street parking is available on the cross street, Wood Avenue, up against our fence adjacent to the main house. The main parking in front of the other buildings is for the other rentals-- cottages 2, 3, and 4. I do not live on the premises, but I do live nearby and I am on the property daily. I can typically be contacted by cell phone or Airbnb message. I respond quickly in most instances. However, there are areas around Forks that have limited cell service or WiFi, and I work full time, so I may not respond immediately if out of service area or at work. If there is an urgent issue, please call vs. sending a message. This cottage is located 2 blocks from downtown Forks in a residential neighborhood. One parking is available on site for guests. If you have small vehicles, you may be able to get two cars in the driveway. On the far side of cottage 4, there is street parking next to our fence on Wood Street. There is a local shuttle bus that passes in front of facility if needed. From the driveway, there are two steps up onto the deck and one or two steps down into the yard area. Cottage 1 has it's very own deck with table, chairs, and an umbrella. The backyard space is shared with the other cottages and has an additional table, chairs, and umbrella. The TV in cottage 1 is a smart device. If you would like to watch Netflix, Hulu, etc. you will need to log-in to those services using your own accounts. DirecTV is also available in the cottage. There is no BBQ grill, no firepit, and no dishwasher (common inquiries).
