Nisha's review This airbnb was the cleanest one I have ever stayed in and it was very convenient for staying after dropping our child at the Interlochen arts academy. There were shampoo/conditioner, body wash, coffee supplies. Jeff is an amazing communicator and we didn’t have any trouble navigating what we needed in the area or in the rental. RECENT REVIEWS Jeff’s place was so clean and comfortable! Gorgeous setting that was convenient to TC, sleeping bear, etc. We would definitely stay here again. Kristen My wife and I stayed an entire month, June 2021 at this awesome property in Interlochen, MI. Jeff our host was exceptional and promptly responded to our messages. An additional shout out to Shawn (Jeff’s assistant on site) . He proactively checked on us to cater to any request which I hope they would say was minimal. The property was exactly as described on the AB&B site. Clean, new, fully outfitted with linens, cookware and solid WIFI and the small lake out our back door was a great place for an evening glass of wine. The property was convenient to Traverse City (10 miles) and many wineries which we also enjoyed during our stay. Mark In our current times you will find reassuring we go to great lengths to make sure the place is cleaned properly and that on very frequent occasions between guests we perform a Ozone treatment on the place for that extra step to be safe and clean. Ozone is amazing, with the SARS virus scientist discovered that Ozone treatments kill 99.8% of Virus's. Also the entrance to the place is from outside NO inside hallways to walk down. With SELF check-in The things you will LOVE about The Leelanau #1 Location, located RIGHT OFF of US 31 easy on and off highway 5 minutes to the World renowned Interlochen Arts Academy 3 miles to the Blue Bridge Events Center 1/2 mile to Interlochen Golf course 30 miles to The Homestead Is located RIGHT OFF of US 31, just 1/2 mile from the traffic light in Interlochen. #2 Self check in we have a keypad lock no keys required for entry. #3 Newly remodeled, modern design #4 The unit is AIR CONDITIONED for those warm summer days. #5 Nice outside deck area with table and chairs, overlooking our Private Lake. Here are 3 THINGS TO CONSIDER before renting. #1 NO PARTIES are permitted in our apartment or on our property at any time during your stay. #2 Our Condo is nice but its not perfect for all people, even though we have put lots of effort into this place there are always small what seem like trivial issues to most that really upset others such as, there is no dishwasher, This is a Condo so there will be neighbor noises at times. #3 We ask all our guests to respect the neighbors and to not be loud or yell or play loud music inside and outside the building at all times during their stay. We expect our Guests to be quiet after 11:00 PM. So if you intend to behave like a party animal, our place is not for you but if you intend to behave like a resident, you should love your stay. #4 We have a 55 inch Smart TV with no cable, we have a Antenna which provides 18 channels like ABC NBC CBS etc all in 4K, we also provide a Netflix subscription with endless viewing options. Now that this is clear, let's get to the description of the place. The Leelanau is located in Interlochen right off US 31, the center point of activities in the Grand Traverse region. The Leelanau features a kitchen that is fully equipped with all the essentials such as MICROWAVE, POTS & PANS, COFFEE MAKER, TOASTER, BLENDER, SLOW COOKER and your basic kitchen items to cook a nice meal and Coffee, Creamer & Sugar. This is a 1 BEDROOM unit with a queen size bed the living room has a queen size sleeper sofa & all the linens you will need. 55” SMART TV, 100+ Mpbs WIFI The bathroom has a FULL SIZE TUB HAIR DRYER, IRON & BOARD and WASHER & DRYER to take care of your laundry needs. Most of the art work in the place are under water pictures of shipwrecks in Leelanau County and the Manitou Passage taken by Chris Roxburgh a local author and son of my business partner Bob and came out of his newly released book Leelanau Underwater. The pictures are stunning to say the least! Because of the close proximity to The Interlochen Center for the Arts, we highly recommend you do a search, just maybe you could catch a amazing concert while in our area. ***Attending a special event and you know others in need of lodging, we have several other properties available, inquire for the other listings and availability. Guest access Everything in apartment, outside private patio area with table and chairs and a place to walk down to the lake and watch the numerous birds fly in. Other things to note No keys required for entry into the house, with have a key pad with a security code. Which equals no hassles with trying to track down keys.
