Escape to this relaxing 2600 sq ft oasis less than 2 miles to the JTNP. The eclectic mix of mid-century modern and Aztec styles will inspire & calm you. Big enough to sleep your whole group in comfy beds with NEST mattresses, but intimate enough to spend quality time together. We are NOT a party house.Quiet hours: 10pm-8am. No amplified sound anytime. Our neighbors can hear you. No unauthorized guests without approval, day or night. Interior pool lights no longer used due to dark sky ordinance. The space The garage houses a pool table and foosball table. Kings, queens, and bunks..something for everyone! The bunk beds are full over full instead of the standard twin over twin. The bathroom arrangements are as follows: 1 full bathroom in master bedroom 1 full jack and jill bathroom between bunk room and queen room (sinks in bedrooms, toilet and tub/shower in pass thru) 1/2 bathroom off family room Propane Grill On Patio Full spa use included in price. Additional $200 per day to heat the pool which covers a portion of the actual cost to heat the pool due to the high cost of propane. (We cover some as a courtesy) Pool and spa share the same heater so only one can be actively heating. Pool heat can be slowed by use of the hot tub since the pool has a long lead time so if you plan to use the hot tub for many hours the night of your arrival let’s coordinate with a game plan to make sure it doesn’t effect your pool heat. Also please note the water in the pool will be a few degrees warmer than the remote states in the winter as the temp is measured outside of the pool in a location where the temp drops before reading slightly. Water is heated to mid-80s but may still feel cold depending on weather. Weather may also effect pool heat capabilities. Ask for more details. Guest access The house is on a full 5 acres in the Joshua Tree Highlands. You have access to the full house and gameroom located in the separate garage. Please stay ON PROPERTY. Property lines are the roads to the south and East, the wash directly behind the garage, and immediately behind the hill the pool is on. The surrounding land is privately owned and you WILL be reported and cited. Please respect our neighbors. Other things to note Our neighbors moved to Joshua Tree to escape the noise and chaos of the big city and we know that you're visiting to do the same. Noise travels far in the desert and we ask that you respect our neighbors privacy and enjoyment by keeping it down or moving inside past 8pm. County law bans any amplified sound day or night so leave your Bluetooth speakers at home. Code compliance gives no warnings and noise fines start at $2,000 each, guests are responsible for any fines received during their stay. This property is off a dirt road. 4 wheel drive is not required, but we advise a vehicle that is not too low to the ground as you will drive over rocky areas. Internet and cell reception can be minimal or non-existent. Make sure to join the wifi at the house and turn on your wifi calling for the best coverage. There are security cameras with audio capability on the exterior of the home. They only catch the front of the house, parking, and approach - no private areas such as the inside or pool. They are there for your security and safety as well as deliveries. NO DRONES. NO FILMING. NO OFF-ROADING. NO TRESPASSING Full spa use included in price yearlong. Additional $200 per day to heat the pool ONLY available March thru October due to wear and tear on equipment and inefficiency. (Price increase due to market rate of propane) Holidays occurring during or starting on weekends must include Friday - Monday or longer depending on 3 or 4 night minimum. Major holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years require a 4 night minimum. No checkin on holidays such as Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, or New Year’s Day.
