This unique and tranquil getaway is located on the quiet side of Mount Desert Island. You will be located a short distance from Bass Harbor lighthouse, Thurston’s Lobster Pound, Ship Harbor Trail, Wonderland Trail, Southwest Harbor, Beal’s Lobster Pier, Little Fern, Peter Trout's Tavern and the hiking trails surrounding Long Pond. LIGHTHOUSE TOWER AND BEDROOM This area of the house consists of a living room, office and bedroom that has a QUEEN BED. The bedroom is located above the living room. The living room has a FUTON BED and doors that close to provide privacy. There is a ladder style staircase to the bedroom (staircase is visible in photos). The home office is located adjacent to this living room. UPSTAIRS BEDROOM This bedroom has a KING BED, bathroom and PULL-OUT SOFA BED. The room has an open concept that looks out onto the living room, deck and kitchen. The bathroom has shower stall and the washer and dryer are located in the bathroom. MAIN FLOOR BEDROOM This bedroom has a KING BED and is located off the kitchen. The main floor bathroom is located next to the bedroom. MAIN FLOOR BATHROOM This spacious bathroom is located next to the main floor bedroom. This bathroom has tub and shower. MAIN LIVING ROOM The living room has two couches, 42” TV, table, chairs and two sliding glass doors that lead to the deck. KITCHEN You should have all the kitchen essentials you would need to cook meals. Generally, we will have oil, salt, and pepper. The kitchen has a large refrigerator, oven, microwave, coffee maker and electric stove top. Please do NOT cook lobster or shellfish inside the house. OUTDOOR DECK The grill is located on the deck, and you will have easy access to the propane grill for cooking your favorite foods. From the deck you will be able to sunrises and sunsets.
