Blue Marlin is a private beachfront home on the Chesapeake Bay in Hampton, VA! This home has two dwellings. The 4th bedroom is located in the 2nd dwelling. All four bedrooms are located on the second floor and require climbing stairs. Nestled within 30 miles to the attractions of Busch Gardens, Colonial Williamsburg, and Virginia Beach; our location offers the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. The space We have a unique setting of 2 separate dwellings, the 4th bedroom is located in the guesthouse on the same property. All of our bedrooms are located on the second floor, which will require you to use stairways. If you have any mobility issues, please consider this before booking. Parking is limited to 3 vehicles possibly 4, if couple of vehicles are smaller. There is no on street parking between the hours of 6pm-6am. The city of Hampton only allows up to 10 overnight guests at this property, no exceptions. Step inside our thoughtfully designed beach house and you’ll be greeted by a warm and inviting ambience. The main floor of the guest house has a small kitchen, living room, a dining table that folds out to to sit up to 4 people, and half bath. Upstairs is a large bedroom with a desk and a full bath. Please be advised that the AC unit at the guest house is loud when kicking in, if you are a light sleeper, consider sleeping in one of the bedrooms in the main house. The fully equipped kitchen is a haven for culinary enthusiasts, complete with modern appliances and ample counter-space for preparing delicious meals. Whether you’re whipping up a feast for the family or enjoying a quiet dinner for 2, the adjacent dining area offers the perfect setting to savor your creations while relishing the incredible bay views. As evening falls, retire to one of the comfortable and well-appointed bedrooms. Guest access We provide Netflix, Hulu TV, Hulu, Disney plus and ESPN+ for your streaming needs. All linens, towels and beach towels are provided. Kayaks, paddle board, boogie boards, sand toys and life jackets are provided. Guest has a full access to the main house and guesthouse, the garage, except for a few cabinets and a supply closet. There are many small gathering areas such as fire pit and chairs at the front of the house, small deck off of the guesthouse with table and chairs, main deck has lounge chairs, 4 person counter hight table and chairs, 4 person outdoor dining table and chairs in the porch and a balcony off the primary bedroom with two bar hight chairs, last but not least, a private beach in the back yard with hammocks, swings and beach chairs. Under the house is a great place for those days with intense sun, you will not need an umbrella. Other things to note The AC unit in the guest house can be loud when it kicks in. If you are a light sleeper, please consider staying in one of the bedrooms in the main house. Parking is limited to one small garage for a compact vehicle, with 2-4 additional spaces available in the driveway, depending on the size of the vehicles. Please note that our home is not suitable for individuals with mobility issues. Beach conditions are constantly changing, from sandy bottoms to shells and seaweed. Tides and winds can be unpredictable at times, so please do not leave any chairs or water toys unattended.
