Butternut Creek has trout for your fishing needs and there is even a picnic area next to the best creek frontage you will find that is like having your own private park all to yourself. Upstate Hideaway is a single family home, built in 1850 but completely renovated with all modern amenities. When you walk in the front door you will see the stunning hardwood floors throughout the home, opening up to the large living room with big comfortable sofa and loveseat. The home is an open concept floor plan with the living room opening right up into the dining area and large spacious modern kitchen. There is a laundry room downstairs as well and a half bathroom. Upstairs is a king bedroom with an en suite full bathroom with both a walk in shower and a soaking tub. Then there is a bedroom with 2 bunk beds (full on bottom, twin on top) and a bedroom with a queen bed. Outside is 78 private acres with Butternut Creek winding through it and a grill and firepit for your use! What more could you ask for?! This house has it all! You have the entire home to yourself! There are a few kitchen cabinets and 1 hallway closet that is locked to keep extra supplies and some of the owner’s belongings. Adriana and Samantha are both locals to the area and are here for any questions you may have or anything you may need during your trip! Upstate Hideaway is in Burlington Flats, a small town just 20 minutes from Main St in Cooperstown. Locals love Burlington Flats for its small town charm and its closeness to other local amenities. The most popular of course being Cooperstown, home of the Baseball Hall of Fame and Cooperstown Dreams Park, Otsego Lake, Farmer’s Museum and Glimmerglass Opera. In addition to the main attractions of Cooperstown, only 10 miles away is the hamlet of Fly Creek, famous for the Fly Creek Cider Mill (go visit and you’ll see why) and The Pail Shop Vineyard is the perfect place to grab a sangria after a day on the lake or watching baseball.
