There are Bay &/or Tidal Water Views from every window, deck, & balcony of this home! One can see & hear the gentle waves lapping on the shore of the bay while relaxing at this amazing vacation site! This vacation home has double water access. Located at the south end of Broadkill Beach, this spacious four-bedroom property faces the sandy beach of the mouth of the Delaware Bay with calm 2-foot waves & a sandy shoreline. Located just a few steps from your front door is your private pathway with a beach gear corral & Mobi-Mat Walkway over a small dune to the beach. In the backyard is your own private dock, sundeck, & cement boat ramp giving you access to Deep Hole Creek, Broadkill River, Delaware Bay, & the Atlantic Ocean to the south, Milton, DE to the west, the Broadkill Store to the north, & the Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge to the west, creating a wonderful backdrop of nature as one explores the backwaters & tributaries. One could dock their boat all week free & have plenty of room to crab, fish, sunbathe, & launch jet skis, kayaks, john-boats, canoes, water boards, & flotation toys. We have provided a fish cleaning table with a freshwater hose to clean the "Catch of the Day", maintain your water toys, relax, & rinse off with fresh water on those hot afternoons. There is a fire pit in this sunny area in the backyard as well, which is a great place to bring the plastic Adirondack chairs in the evenings to toast marshmallows for S-mores at sunset & view the starry sky that is probably difficult to see in a more populated area like the town or city you live. Off-street free parking is available at this location. There is a well-maintained stone parking area to the rear (west) of the house & the entire driveway to the concrete ramp is exclusively yours for your entire stay! One can park 3 cars wide & two deep behind the house as well as 2 vehicles wide & 2 deep on the driveway to the cement ramp. Boat & jet ski trailers can remain in this same area as well without worrying about where to place them during your stay! There is a Privacy Area & Man Cave on the east side of the home which also gives privacy to guests before entering the outdoor shower & changing room space. The privacy area has a full sun & sandy space to sunbathe, & grill something for dinner! The man cave is under the deck & has concrete tiles, & seats 5 comfortably. Under this 42' deck there is still plenty of room to store our plastic Adirondack chairs, 2 open kayaks & paddles, as well as a large bike rack, & 2 cruiser bicycles for guest convenience & to prevent theft & wind damage to this equipment. We have provided two 8' built-in bench seats in the front yard for Corn Hole games & an angled 20' built-in bench seat on the south side backyard with shade from a large wild cherry tree for relaxation, meditation, & even watercolor painting the environment with grandchildren as the focus! The home has the capacity for multi-family use -*$100.00 extra charge nightly for each individual beyond 13 persons, infants & children included. Kitchen & bed linens are provided & cleaned by the owner & the beds are made prior to your arrival so you can unpack, relax, & take a short nap immediately if needed. The owner does the final "touch-ups" after the cleaning crew completes their tasks prior to your arrival & continues to clean the outdoors to help create an environment of peace & tranquillity in this natural beach habitat. There are 4 bedrooms, counting the efficiency room as a bedroom or a public space depending on the number of guests & how each family decides to use the space. Each bedroom sleeps 3 to 4 adults comfortably. There are three full bathrooms, one on each level of the house, with 2 bathtub/shower combinations on the top 2 floors. The efficiency room has a toilet, a shower with a changing area just outside the shower stall, & a vanity on the left wall. Other items in this room are a second refrigerator and freezer with ice maker, a second double stainless-steel sink, a second microwave, a clothes washer and dryer, the fourth smart Tv, a single bed with a trundle, and a futon bed. In addition to the main floor dining area, the efficiency has an additional two tables and six stackable chairs. This room is great for teens, young adults, and young parents with little ones who need quiet and little distractions during sleeping/nap time. Another bonus is an outdoor shower on the ground level with a large changing area with a built-in bench seat for guest convenience. It is amazing, & I hope you get the chance to use it! Instead of parking problems, heavy traffic, crowded beaches, & something to do with the kids when they are bored, please consider a different family vacation that individuals of all ages will enjoy! It is an exclusive experience indeed! Guest access Guests will be able to access the entire house & its outdoor amenities except for the one-car garage & its contents as well as the locked owner's closet on the ground level under the staircase Other things to note Person booking must be age 25 or older. Weekly rental increments and turnover days are from Saturday to Saturday (May 31, 2025, through August 31, 2025). Check-in is Saturday after 2:00 pm EST & Check-out is Saturday at 10:00 am EST or earlier. The remainder of availability is a 3-night minimum. Peak Season dates should not be included in this slated timeframe. Bring your toiletries, bath, and beach towels. The homeowner provides the kitchen and bed linens. Please place used linens in the efficiency for homeowners to launder. An extra charge of $150.00 per guest, per night over 13 Infants, toddlers, preschoolers, school-age individuals, adults, and senior citizens will also be charged if the instant booking does not include the fee. Dog(s) less than 25 lbs. are welcome. Larger dog(s) must be approved by the homeowner. Please provide pet breed, current vaccination record, and proof of flea/tick treatment before check-in. Excessive barking may lead to neighbor complaints. We request you do not leave your pet alone at the property. Dog fee is $275 for each dog (maximum 2 dogs). You are responsible for any damage you, your group, or your dog(s) may cause.
