Capistrano Playa is situated in the cliffs above Burianna beach, just above the Paseo Burriana in a horseshoe shape trickling down to the sea through tropical gardens. Capistrano Playa is 5 minutes drive or 15-20 minutes walk from Nerja Town and just 5 minutes walk from Nerja´s main beach, Burriana beach where you will find restaurants, bars and shops. There is also a regular bus service to the town centre. Nearby places to visit include the famous Caves at Maro & the picturesque white village of Frigiliana. Nerja is a coastal town at the foot of the Almijara mountains with a long tradition of fishing and agriculture. The fishermen still pull their nets ashore on Burriana beach and fresh produce can still be bought from the doorways of local people´s houses. The weekly market (Tuesdays) attracts many traders and shoppers from all over the region and the town centre has a vibrant, friendly atmosphere with many lovely shops and tapas bars & restaurants.
