Accessible via scenic, steep and winding small roads, our 12-person cottage "Les Granges de Blans" welcomes you with all the comfort of a 3-star furnished accommodation in an exceptional mountain setting. The place is ideal if you want to reunite with family or friends, reconnect and recharge in a haven of peace immersed in nature, away from the hustle and bustle of the world. You will find all the necessary equipment to enjoy an excellent stay. The space You will be welcomed by Audrey and Loïc in this accommodation designed to be both comfortable and functional. Modern, bright, clean, and well-equipped, this property exudes a warm atmosphere thanks to its wooden walls, blending the charm of a mountain chalet with contemporary comfort, fully immersed in nature. Capacity: 1 to 12 people maximum (including babies) – possibility to accommodate 1 additional baby for free. Living spaces: Large communal room with wood stove and pool table, cozy mezzanine lounge with satellite TV, 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms + outdoor shower, 4 toilets (including one in the pool house). Kitchen: 2 refrigerators, 1 freezer, plenty of storage. We can pick up your groceries from the drive-through upon request (extra charge). Comfort: Electric heating + high-performance wood stove (wood provided free of charge), bed linens and towels included (except pool towels), end-of-stay cleaning included. Outdoor: Large terrace with breathtaking mountain views, spa (5–7 people) heated year-round, exclusively for guests during their stay, included. Private parking on natural ground (4 vehicles). Leisure and amenities: Table tennis, American pool table, board games & books in French, 2 raclette grills & gas plancha. Hosting: In the spirit of Airbnb, we live next door and personally welcome all guests. Rating: 3-star tourist accommodation (Lourdes Tourist Office). Nearby: All shops (bakery, supermarket, McDonald’s, etc.) within 20 minutes. Ski resorts within 1 hour: during winter stays, you can try several! Numerous nature activities and local discoveries (see “Neighborhood Highlights”). Please note: No pets allowed. Parties and heavily alcohol-fueled stays are prohibited. Non-smoking property. The person making the reservation must be present throughout the stay (see Airbnb conditions). Guests not included in the booking are not allowed. Off-season discounts are based on the length of stay (not the number of guests). We look forward to welcoming you for a unique and private experience! Guest access Pool Access – Summer Only: From early July to the end of August (period may be extended depending on weather conditions), we are pleased to open our private pool to guests during the day. Access is free from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., even when we are present: we share this space in a friendly atmosphere. Dimensions: 4 x 7 m, depth 1.33 m. Secure pool but unsupervised: swimming at your own risk. Water naturally heated by solar energy, temperature varies depending on sunlight. Other things to note Our gîte is located at 850 meters above sea level, in the heart of a slate valley, surrounded by pristine nature. You are in the middle of the mountains, in a truly unique setting. Access and Weather Conditions: The gîte is situated uphill at the end of a 1.5 km road (paved and accessible by all types of vehicles except motorhomes, heavy trucks, and racing bicycles). In winter, this road may be snowy. Snow clearance is handled by the municipality (it may take a few hours or even a full day). During severe summer storms, occasional damage may occur on the access road, which is maintained by the municipality. Repairs are carried out according to available resources. These conditions are part of mountain life; we ask for your understanding and patience. The land is not fully fenced and includes slopes. Children must always be supervised by an adult. Connectivity and Amenities: The fiber-optic Wi-Fi network is now optimal. However, temporary outages may occur. In case of a failure, the aerial network is rather weak. The property is not equipped with air conditioning, but almost all windows have mosquito nets in summer. Two ceiling fans are installed in the attic bedrooms. Jacuzzi and Hygiene: Simple rules must be followed to ensure a pleasant and hygienic use of the spa for everyone. Waste Disposal: In the mountains, there is no doorstep garbage collection. Trash must be taken to containers located a few kilometers away. This is the tenant’s responsibility. Electric Vehicle Charging: Electricity consumption for charging electric vehicles is not included in the rental price. Please contact us to arrange a fee based on your vehicle’s consumption and the number of charges you need during your stay.
