Put your walking shoes on and stroll to the beach from this wonderful location. 17 Mile Drive and Bird Rock vista point and Seal Rock Beach are just a few minutes' away on foot and a walking trail stretches for miles in both directions. On many days you will hear the seals barking when you step out the front door of the house. Bring the golf clubs and schedule your tee times in advance because you are heading to a golfer's paradise - situated between multiple courses like Spyglass, Spanish Bay, MPCC and famed Pebble Beach, not to mention other area courses (Quail, Laguna Seca, Bayonette and Black Horse) that you and your golfing friends will enjoy. While the golfers are on the links, the rest of the group will enjoy exploring nearby beaches, the natural wonders of Point Lobos State Reserve, the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Historic Cannery Row and downtown Monterey. Foodies will enjoy exploring the restaurants of Carmel-by-the-Sea and other bordering coastal towns; convenient shopping is just outside the Pebble Beach community gate in charming Pacific Grove. Living Spaces Vaulted ceilings in the living area are uplifting, and comfortable furniture around the fireplace will draw you in. In addition to the living room, a separate family room with large sectional sofa and a wall-mounted flat screen TV (Streaming only. Cable is not available) is another space to gather, relax and play games. Kitchen and Dining The fully-equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances, plenty of storage and counter space and everything you need to whip up quick meals or more elaborate ones. A large countertop with stools provides a casual seating space that adjoins the living room and a dining table with seating for 6 is also adjacent to the kitchen in an open-concept style. Bedroom #1 has a queen bed, TV and an en suite bathroom with shower. Bedroom #2 has a split king bed with foam topper. Bedroom #3 has a split king bed with foam topper. The hall bathroom has a shower over tub combination and a vanity with two sinks. The back yard is completely fenced. Outdoor seating around a fire pit is the perfect place to gather the family and make some special memories. A propane BBQ grill is on hand for outdoor cooking. Well-behaved dogs are welcome with pre-approval, an additional pet fee and a signed pet addendum. Dogs shouldn't be allowed on the furniture or beds. Dogs should not be left unattended anywhere on the property. Parking for several cars is available in the driveway. The extra deep 2-car garage has an EV charger - bring your adapter and cable. Unfortunately, the Pebble Beach Community has recently made a policy change and we are no longer permitted to add your name to a guest list ahead of time for admission. INSTRUCTIONS: - Use the Visitors lane and come to a full stop at the guard gate. - Let the guard know your name is not on the guest list and that you are entering the community because you have rented a short-term rental from Sanctuary Vacation Rentals. (It is very important that you use this verbiage because there are some events and times of year when Pebble Beach will not allow tourists to drive through the community as sight-seers and they need to know WHY you are entering the community so that they will admit you.) - Pay the gate fee (per car, per day; $12.25 as of December 2024 but the rate is subject to change) They accept cash or cards. - Be sure to save the receipt because you will need to show it again for re-entry into any of the Pebble Beach gates and this receipt will act as your day pass. - Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions and we look forward to hosting you!
