This detached farm cottage has a superb location on the Causeway Coastal Route above Whitepark Bay - midway between Ballycastle and Bushmills. The cover picture shows Ballintoy Harbour, a local beauty spot just a few minutes drive. Many attractions of the Causeway Coast region are just a five minute drive - eg, Bushmills, Giant’s Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede, Portballintrae, Dunluce Castle, Dark Hedges and Ballycastle. Ideally placed for day trips to Belfast, Londonderry and Donegal. The space Porthole Cottage is warm, comfortable and well-equipped to provide a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Indeed many of our guests have been with us several times. Prices include bed linens, towels and electricity. Cottage is centrally heated by Aga type stove in Kitchen. In the lounge we have recently removed the open fire and installed a wood burning stove - set and ready to light - a basket of logs are provided for your first evening by the fire. Additional logs at a reasonable cost. We do not provide meals but kitchen is well-equipped with electric oven and hob, dish-washer, microwave, and toaster. Fridge and small freezer. Washing machine, tumble drier, iron and ironing board. Little extras - tea, coffee, sugar for that first much needed cuppa. Tin foil, cling film, washing up liquid, hand soap, bleach, cleaning products. Tea towel and hand towel provided. Shower room has walk-in shower, toilet, and wash hand basin. Wi-fi Secure parking for bicycles and motorcycles. Guest access Guests have access to the complete cottage. You do not have to share the facilities with other parties. Other things to note Tesco, Asda and Sainsbury all deliver groceries to cottage. EV charging available. Contact property for more details.
