Welcome to Crow Nest Farm and our new Mid Century Modern Jetson Suite. On the eastern side of our 1880 Victorian house, the suite boosts multiple windows to catch the morning sun. Wake in the comfy queen sized bed. Start your morning with the provided coffee and baked goods from our own Simmer Down Bakery on our wide covered porch. Or fry an egg on the original 1968 Harvest Gold King Kitchenette! Need a late night snack? Jiffy Pop popcorn and Atomic Fireballs await! Back to the Fifties! With its private entrance off the covered porch of our 1880’s farmhouse, The Jetson Suite invites you to step back in time. The living space boasts a bar area along with old time curiosities like Lite Bright, Slinky and other fun throwbacks. Quisp Cereal, percolator coffee and Poptarts are provide to start your day right. The King Kitchenette is original so of course we’ve provided Jiffy Pop for a late night snack. The kitchenette is not meant for heavy or greasy cooking but pots and pans for preparing a simple meal are provided, so feel free to fry up some toast and eggs or prepare your favorite hot cereal. A microwave, toaster and kitchen necessities for washing up are provided. The bathroom has a walk in shower with seat and fresh fluffy towels! The water on the farm is a fresh spring-fed well, so we conserve water and ask you to be mindful and do the same. The linen is crisp white on the queen bed with extra blankets for chilly nights. Flannel sheets are provided for the month of November. We are off a state highway so road noise will be heard with windows open. Baseboard radiators controlled by guest. Separate sunlit apartment. Covered seating on your own side of the farmhouse porch. Enjoy coffee in your private suite or take it on the porch. Feel free to stroll the grounds and explore our 1880s barn. Check yourself in with provided code. We provide privacy. We are around the farm all the time. Call/Text if you need anything, otherwise you’re on your own. Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of New York State, Trumansburg boasts countless attractions within minutes of the Village and offers a wide list of restaurants & activities. We are on the Cayuga Wine trail in the heart of Amish country. Farmers Market Wednesday from 4-7 with music…right down 227 less then a mile. Crow Nest is less than a mile from town center. Walking and biking distance for many guests. Parking is next to the suite in the lawn. You may park in our cidery parking lot, and any guests you have should, but one dedicated spot is located off the barn driveway so ignore the sign directing folks to our parking lot and pull in towards the barn. Turn right onto the lawn and park in front of the sign marked Jetson Suite. When you exit do not back onto 227. Traffic is fast. Please leave the driveway facing forward with care. You absolutely need a car here but the bus stop is 3/4 mile away. The Suite is located on a working farm and dangerous for children, all guests must be 12 or over please. No smoking or heavy partying. No open flame of any kind including candles. The Jetson Suite is located on Crow Nest, a hobby farm with sections almost 200 years old. The ground is farmland…level but uneven in places. Parking is next to the farmhouse porch. The porch has steps and the suite has original doors which are narrow-24-30”. Please be able to navigate the farm and house.
