Located 2 miles from HWY 285 this retreat is accessible year-round via paved & plowed roads. This 2 bedroom/3 bed/2 bath is cozy & filled with all amenities you’ll need. Gated & on 3 acres. Enjoy views of Pike’s Peak while grilling & relaxing on your deck, roasting marshmallows by the firepit, or cozying-up by the fireplace. Throw some horseshoes, or unwind on sky chairs & enjoy! Room by Room Info: Lanai/All-Season Room: •The Lanai, or all season's room. where the 8 -person kitchen table is located, is the perfect spot to spend some quiet time. Cozy up by the fireplace in a rocking chair with a book or play many of the board & card games available. Take in your view of Pike's Peak. Kitchen: •The kitchen has a microwave, toaster oven, a blender, a stovetop, an oven, refrigerator, freezer and a coffee maker. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, utensils, cooking pots and pans, and Corningware.•The coffee maker can be used as a Keurig. Keuring coffee cups are complimentary for your stay! There is also a coffee bean grinder. The coffee maker has a basket for ground coffee if that's yourpreference.•There are complimentary snacks: soup, nut bars, fruit snacks! Enjoy! •A variety of spices and basic condiments in cabinets or in the fridge are supplied for your use.• There is a 2-seat island. The kitchen opens into the living area. . Outdoors & Deck: • The deck is equipped with a propane grill. There are BBQ utensils. There are utensils for roasting marshmallows/smores by the firepit .There's a picnic blanket in the Kid's Hide-N-Seek room. We do have a large firepit with 8-10 seating areas when no fire bans are in place. View of pike's peak and large 3-acre meadow for lots of privacy for this Guesthouse. Laundry: • In the master bedroom, behind the black farm door is a full stack washer and dryer for your convenience. Laundry detergent is on the top of the washer for your use. Hide- N- Seek Room: • A sweet space for your little one! Bean-bag chairs and a cubby filled with games, toys, a portable DVD player and DVD. Hallway/ AC & Heat: • PVGH's thermostat can be found on the wall in the hallway between the two bedrooms. The Guesthouse has both AC & Heat. Bedrooms: • Both bedrooms are equipped with Roku TVs. You will log-in to the many apps using your own passwords. • The Master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom • The Guest bedroom has a bathroom that is also accessible through the hallway. • The guest bedroom has a work desk with outlets. • Both are equipped with dressers, closet space, and hangers -Each bedroom has a queen bed -The living room has a double- size sleeper sofa and can accommodate (1) adult or (2) small children Bathrooms: • Both bathrooms have full showers with bathtubs • There is complimentary shampoo, conditioner, face and body wash. • We have provided (2) sets of all towels for each guest expected. Living Room: • The living room couch has a pull-out double sleeper suitable for one adult. Linens and blankets are in the the guest bedroom closet (bedroom closest to greenhouse) • Roku TV: There are multiple apps on the TV. Please use your own log-ins to access most apps. • There is a DVD player in the Lanai cubbie along with an HDMI cable if you care to watch a DVD. There are several DVDs in the lanai as well Greenhouse: Our green is not yet planted but does have a fairy garden terrarium that your lil one might enjoy seeing! When our greenhouse is ready, please help yourself to veggies and spices to cook your meals. Hot tub & horseshoe pit: soon to come! This is a single home with (2) rental units, an upper and lower. Pike's View Guesthouse is the lower unit. It is fully insulated from the upper unit with Structure 40 insulation for maximum noise reduction. It's a 1000 sq. ft., newly renovated (2023) , and has it's own private entry, private deck and yard. The unit has a full kitchen open to a living area. (2) bedrooms with Queen beds. (2) full bathrooms with tubs. (1) double-sized sleeper sofa in the living room. A full stack washer & dryer in the unit. Romantic, quiet, perfect mountain get-away for families and friends. Great views of Pike's Peak (of course!). It's on 3 acres and is a gated property for privacy. This is space is yours and the host/owner will not be around to fuss with you! We have, on occasion, a visiting chocolate lab! He is very friendly and his name is Bohdi. Bohdi is not allowed in your airbnb space-and while you'll love him, you can't take him home!! We are in the heart of the foothills in Conifer, CO We are near everything outdoors (minutes away!) : hiking, fishing, camping, rock climbing, ATVing, Hunting, snowshoeing, Mtn biking, XC skiing, and More!! Got kids: we love 'em! We have a lil' hide-and- seek room with games and DVDS. We have a fairy garden in our greenhouse-- WARNING: your kids will want to have one of their own!
