We pride ourselves in keeping the house immaculately clean with an excellent cleaner and regular pest control service, but when doors are opened and closed it’s possible for a critter to slip in. We ask for guests to have a reasonable reaction if an insect is spotted considering the climate and ecosystem of Hatteras Island. -Depending on the season, there are sometimes tropical storms and hurricanes at the Outer Banks. We do not refund for weather-related cancellations, so please purchase independent travelers insurance if you would like the possibility to cancel with refund due to a storm.
