The Malt House, Portree

The Malt House forms one wing of Portree's former grain mill. Over 200 years old it is now a grade 2 listed upside down house full of charm and character. The house is an easy 5 minute walk from the centre of Portree with all its restaurants and facilities, yet is situated in a leafy tucked away location. The upstairs living area is light, bright and open plan. The sea is a 2 minute stroll from the house. Portree is the capital of Skye and a great base for exploring all that Skye has to offer. The space Fully refurbished bathroom and bedrooms for 2026. Following feedback from guests last year we have refreshed the bedrooms and Fully refurbished the bathroom. Guest access The property is one wing of The Mill House. The wing is called The Malt House. It has it's own entrance and a key safe so you can let yourselves in.
