Just steps to the Lake, is Glenlord Park w/ scenic overview, benches, picnic tables and stunning sunsets. Walk/drive to: Tosi's Fine Dining Bit of Swiss Bakery Coaches Sports Bar Crimson Cafe Short drive to: ETRE' Farm's Meijer's Aldi Tractor Supply Located in the neighborhood the Local's call "Where Tosi's is" this 4-5 bedroom (4 King beds, 1 Queen), 2.5 bath home is a luxury escape for everyone in the family. Out door games and dining Indoor games and dining Open concept, Gourmet eat in kitchen, 2 Family rooms, 2 Natural wood burning fireplaces, TV, Laundry facilities, PING PONG, Fire Pit, Screened in porch In the summer, "The Teenager Apartment" is our 5th Bedroom. It is a 3 season room and not available in the winter. Just bring your clothes, personal items and groceries. We'll take care of the rest! The Guests have acess to the entire house with the exception of the storage room in the basement. That room is locked off to store the owners belongings I greet ALL of my Guests upon their arrival, give them a quick home tour and then I'm on my way. I live close by though so, if needed, I can be there in a flash. The best way to reach me is via TEXT When Guests are in my homes I keep my phone turned on 24/7 The Sunset House rests in an upscale, historic and wooded area just steps from Lake Michigan. Our little piece of paradise was settled by Italian immigrant families at the turn of the last century. They built resort after resort along the Lake Michigan coast to cater to the Chicago elite that came and spent their summers here away from the heat of the city. With it's, resort like, but now residential neighborhood of working professionals, you are surrounded by peace and quiet. But just a short drive or bike ride away is shopping, restaurants, 13 beaches, event venues, hiking, world famous Golf Courses, Casinos, Wine Country, Breweries...SO MUCH to do you won't be able to fit it all in! And NOTHING is more than 15 min. drive away. Glenlord and Ridge Roads have lots of foot traffic in the summer. Baby strollers, dogs walking their humans, hikers, bikers and the occasional golf cart make this a somewhat busy intersection. Please take care as the speed limit on Ridge Rd is 40 mph. Our PET POLICY: Pets are allowed at The Beach Glass House. However, Air BnB does not have a command on it's site to inform us that you have one, nor a place for you to add a pet cleaning fee. Pets stays require a unique cleaning protocol that requires exta time for our cleaning team. Due to this, there is a $100 per pet, per stay, pet fee. Please bring, a check made out to the Owner or cash to leave on the kitchen counter at your departure. Please do NOT attempt to sneak a pet into our home! If you do, there will be an automatic $2500 claim on the renters insurance provided with this reservation. The Sunset House is on city water but not on city sewer. We are on a private septic sewer system. This means that it is very important that the only thing going into the toilets is human waste and reasonable amounts of tissue! Anything more dense than that will clog the system. NO Tampons, NO Pads, NO paper towels/wipes, NO DIAPERS! Also, please only use the garbage disposal for waste with liquids. Any waste that is fibrous or too dense may clog the system. Best to put Aunt Becky's leftover lasagna in the trash.
