Are you a lover of sunsets, beach walks and the beauty of northern Michigan? Situated directly on the beach of Little Traverse Bay our cozy, stylish cottage offers amazing views of Lake Michigan. Watching sunset from the beach around the campfire, on our deck or from inside the cottage by the fireplace, it is a nightly ritual not to be missed! Our cottage sits along the Tunnel of Trees and is only 10 minutes from charming Harbor Springs, 30 minutes to Petoskey and 45 minutes to Mackinaw. The space We purchased our beach cottage in 2015 and completely renovated the interior in 2016. The open floor plan allows you to relax and enjoy lake views from all rooms except the interior bathroom. There is lots of light and the original wood burning fireplace will keep you cozy on a cool evening. You may catch an eagle flying by or deer crossing the property. My husband built our beautiful lake side deck in 2022 and it is an extension of the living space with a couch, chairs and dinning table. In 2023 he added an outdoor pizza oven and built-in bbq for you to enjoy! Guest access Guests have access to the whole cottage with exception to a storage loft and owners closet. Other things to note We have a three night minimum for the fall season. We look forward to hosting you! Absolutely no pets, no smoking, and no parties or events. Please note our decks do not have railings and therefore may not be suitable for toddlers or young children. We appreciate you respecting our cottage as your own and hope you love it as much as we do! Please note our cottage sits on a bluff above the beach with 12 steps down to our lower beach deck. There are a few more steps down to the beach. It is also necessary to climb a few steps on both the front and back of the cottage to enter the house.
